Fantastic school! My kids both went there. My youngest is still there and I will be so sad when he…read moreleaves. Middle school has been a nightmare for us. Maybe we were spoiled from stonewall. The office staff is great, the principal is the best elementary principal I've ever seen. He knows every child. And is highly involved in all school functions. Doesn't pass it to an assistant. One of my children had been to several schools prior to stonewall during elementary years due to my husbands job. This was the only school he was ever happy at. Teachers are great and so much parent participation. Small town feel but at a bigger school with all the modern technology the kids need. You could not ask for a better school for your kids to start off at. You won't want them to leave!

I'm at the school a lot whether it's with my kid or with my dance team. Although it seems clean,…read moreit's an older building with several issues. The gym is big. It accommodates several people. It shows the history of the different athletic achievements. There's a really nice trophy case that's full of accomplishments! The cafeteria seems to hold different sport team practices at the same time as well as hallways and anywhere else athletes can find a place to practice. The school is huge, but looks like it possibly has a leak and mold issue. It's interesting that this school doesn't have 2 gyms like most in Fayette County. Overall, the campus is huge and an elementary and middle school shares its location. I think it just needs upgrades for the students and teachers sake.

Had my son here in preschool for a total of 3 months (if that) because it is the closest school to…read morewhere his mother lives. Every single day he would come home with nothing in his backpack. No homework, no projects he done in class, no nothing. When I would pick him up all I would hear is how he had done this or done that and gotten in trouble but like I said nothing was ever sent home telling me this so when asked about it his teacher had no answer... So supposedly my son was getting in trouble all the time so I took it upon myself to remove him from that school and he now goes with my step son to wellington and he comes home with drawings and just all types of paoers. He has yet to get in trouble a single time so I'm starting to wonder if they just make there kids sit there all day and don't let them do anything... I am so glad I got my son out of here!!

This is the second dance competition I have attended at this school. It's very clean. The locker…read moreroom was great for my girls to change in and run back out to the floor to perform! The school's colors are green and yellow. Very bright when you walk in. Looks like tons of athletic accomplishments. Very spacious and hold quite a few spectators. Each event was dance related and it's a huge difference being a spectator and a coach. As a spectator, the high school dances from a side view. As a middle school coach, it was way more crowd friendly since the dancers faced the crowd. For each event, there was enough room for everyone to enjoy the show!
