Located near Checkpoint Charlie in the center of Berlin, this very, very small but lovely little Italian restaurant makes amazing, authentic food. If you know a little German it will help you here.
If you are a local or can get a reservation, that also would help. Otherwise it might be packed. We got the last table available when we came in. We had the Calamari Fritto app special, which was one of the all time best calamari we've ever had anywhere. We also had the Spaghetti con Gamberetti, which was excellent but could use more aggressive seasoning. People in Germany clearly don't like a lot of seasoning. I had the Penne con manzo e funghi stagionali, which was truly excellent. All the pasta was fresh, all the flavors authentic and appreciated. The only thing weird at all Italian restaurants is this spread they give you which I can only describe as sour cream and chives potato chip dip. I don't get it, but whatever. It's not like you get charged for it. Anyway, if you're in Berlin, put this place on your must try list and go!
