Went on a tour with the Fraser Island Company and stayed at Fraser Island Backpackers (at Happy Valley). We were two people in a lodge that could sleep four (one queen size bed and two single beds). The room was pretty basic, only the beds, a few lockers (to lock things if there are more people sharing) and a fan. No a/c, which was ok since it was not that hot (may be an issue if it is really hot) and we were pretty tired after a full day of activities. There was also a small veranda outside the lodge and there was a nice pool at the hotel as well. The hotel also has a restaurant and small supermarket. We had meals included in the price and these were ok. In the restaurant there is also Internet access and TV. read more
