My Optometrist, Dr Phan (greatest Optometrist) recommended that I see Dr Tsipursky when she found issues on my Retina. Another Optometrist and Ophthalmologist MISSED it, but fortunately, I trusted Dr Phan more so I requested her to refer me to a Retina Specialist. I read many Awesome reviews that Dr Tsipursky received from his patients, when he had his Retina Specialist Practice in Illinois. I was so happy that he came to Southwest Florida. Filled out my paperwork and handed to the receptionist. 45 minutes later I asked how much longer and she tells me she forgot to give them my paperwork. I mentioned that I have a plane to catch and how much longer. I was told I was next. Another half hour goes by and causing a stir they bring me back. Needless to say I couldn't have been seen bc I wouldn't have enough time to make my flight. I would have if they were on time or even close to being on time. Obviously they need more help in the office.

They found out we had medical insurance and insisted on billing for the visit. We were told they would accept the insurance payment not to worry, but the amount went toward my deductible and they insisted on me paying for the complimentary exam. I talked with the office manager what a joke! She told me the doctor told her to write the bill off but she said said i must pay the copay. I agreed to pay and gave her cash. I then received another bill for the balance of the bill. I refuse to pay this office they lie to the patient just to get them in the door then do everything possible to get as much money as possible from you. I had cancelled the appointment fearing there may be a bill and his office called us back and convinced us to come in assuring us there would be no patient balance. Stay clear of this place! The doctor seems very knowledgeable but his staff only worries about getting money!!

My first visit for my initial evaluation was OK but I had to wait in the waiting room for just under 1 hour before the evaluation even started. The evaluation went well and the Dr. seemed knowledgeable and caring. After the evaluation, I went to see Sally (not her real name) who is something like "the surgery coordinator" where we went over how the surgery process would work and the pricing. I was VERY concerned about the pricing since I have a very high deductible on my insurance. I told her this and said I want to know every cost, no surprises. At that meeting I was told that the cost of the lenses (one for each eye) would be $2150 each (not covered by insurance), the charge for the surgeon would be $700 (with my insurance plan), the surgery center would be $875 and the anesthesiologist would be about $100. I even got a piece of paper from her quoting that those were the prices. A day later, I was confused about the type of lenses (different for each eye) I was getting and during that call she confirmed that the lenses would be $2150 each. A couple weeks later, 4 days prior to my surgery, they charged my credit card for the lenses and the price was now $2950 each....a $1600 increase in total. I called to question the charge and was told by Sally that she must have made a mistake and that the charge would be the higher price....oh sorry but please pay us an extra $1600! If it was a mistake, you would think that they would be willing to try do something to keep a customer happy but no...the price is the price. Not the best customer service. I requested a refund and am now looking for another doctor.

I will say that - after five minutes in the waiting room - I'm beginning to believe there's something to Feng Shui. The front door of the office leads directly to a bathroom, and - judging from the energy levels of the reception and accounting staff - the "chi" must be surging in the door and directly down the toilet. The cure could be simply keeping the door to the bathroom closed. But what do I know? Dr. Patel's medical assistants were knowledgeable, cheerful, and gentle, all qualities that I especially appreciate where my eyes are concerned. Thank you!

Very knowledgeable, but again not personable. He seems to just be talking to air, no eye contact and no personalization in his discussion or demeanor. I would suggest going elsewhere if your insurance allows you too. That's our big problem this is the only place we could go in all of Southwest FL.

The cataracts were removed and now I don't need glasses at all. You don't need to wait until a cataract ripens. It becomes more difficult to remove at that point. Disappointed

The reason people with eye glasses visit eye doctor every year is to have vision check. I was asked when I sign in to pay $40 for refraction test. I explain that I only need my vision check because I need new eye glasses. Did not explain that refraction test is to get prescription. After the appointment I paid my copay $40 and I asked for prescription based on the doctor opinion that my vision changed and I need new glasses. I was told that I have to PAY to have the prescription. The bottom line if they explain when I sign in I will not waste my time. This is a totally BS. Lesson learned: next time I will go to Walmart and have my eye checked, prescription and glasses for less. A refraction is the test that is performed to determine your eyeglass prescription. ... A refraction test is usually given as part of a routine eye examination. It may also be called a vision test.

Both times, they claimed the only pediatric Dr had a schedule conflict or wasn't available. Today, ON THE WAY to the appointment, as she was pulling into the parking lot my wife received a call from Eye Centers claiming the pediatric dr wasn't in today. Here we were, 15 minutes before the appointment they already rescheduled twice, and they canceled for the same reason they rescheduled the previous two!! With COVID policy prohibiting siblings in appointments, BOTH my wife and I had to take off work...THREE times now to coordinate. Unfortunately, eye centers doesn't have the courtesy or professionalism to keep their appointments. Looking through the other reviews, I see we aren't alone in their scheduling errors.

It was not an easy process to choose. But Dr. Vaziri was confident in his advise and he was right! I like my "new eyes"! Everyone in the office are very professional, especially Nicole. She took extra steps to explain details, also she answered to my, so called "emergency" calls when I had after surgery questions... I had professional high class medical care. In addition to my growing cataract problem, my vision had steadily declined over 45 years periodically requiring stronger and stronger lenses. (Suddenly, at age 40, I couldn't read a newspaper.) While I don't recall who suggested Fisher Eye, it was only good luck that I wound up with Dr. Vaziri who suggested that my cataract removal could include a lens replacement that would eliminate my having to wear any glasses at all. Apparently, a fairly recent development in artificial lenses that would focus far, near, and in between was becoming routine and would work for me, even at my ripe old age of 85. Wow, I'm now, completely glasses free with 20/20 vision! Thank you, Dr. Vaziri. The procedure is not inexpensive, but, in my estimation worth it. No hassle, no pain, only gain. The neck results were ok but the smile lines remailed. At my second exam, to discuss my forehead operation and have my deep lines removed, I asked Dr Casey "again" to get rid of my smile lines. I was very specific, " Dr can you remove my smile lines? " He looked me straight in the eye and said " YES". $20,000 later, I still have my smile lines!!!!! Along with a dark and deep forehead line. Then, he gives he the " definition of insanity speech." Which was totally absurd since he never did it the first time. And then he gives me the " I did the best I could excuse ". I usually don't write reviews, but after a year I still don't like the chin implant that was done…read more I keep hoping it would get better and now know it won't. I am a young 40 year old with a small chin, since the surgery I now have Marionette lines. I always look sad and angry even when I am just normal. My face also looks very masculine now. I know I needed a larger chin, but the width is very masculine. I am so thankful that we were mask around, but I was hoping with a $6000 bill that I would look amazing. Not the case. I feel the surgeon should have refined the implant before placing it. I also was asked to pay and they would bill my second insurance. Both insurances paid, but they never sent the fund. When I followed up, they said they never got it, but my insurance said the check was cashed. So I wasn't happy with the double dipping.
