The first Franprix I've ever run into with no fruits and vegetables in a produce stand. Why? About half a dozen fruit and vegetable vendors outside their front doors. That's smart business. read more

I lived across the street from this store for a month, and I shopped here daily. I found the prices…read morevery reasonable, and the workers were aways nice, despite my limited (VERY LIMITED) french. I found the small store to be very well stocked with similar prices as monoprix/franprix which was awesome, as in the states, convenience-store like places are usually much higher. Great Wine selection (it's in france, people!) and frozen foods, I wish I still lived there....
This sweet little grocery store was the first store I went to when I first arrived in Paris since…read moreit couldn't be more conveniently located than right across the tiny street from my hostel. It is in my heart because it has everything I could ever want in such a small storefront. It has a salad bar with a wide variety of veggies and other goodies to create your favorite salad to take away. Plus, they have a solid produce section. They have a variety of dairy milk alternatives and they have quite the variety of yogurts, as far as what kind of milk you're looking for. For example, dairy, goat, sheep, low-fat, full-fat, with a particular fruit. They have so much more including non-food products such as toiletries and miscellaneous hardware stuff. Everyone is really friendly encouraging you to work on learning French.

The store is convenient since they do open early and close fairly late. They have plenty of things and since they have two floors of space you can find almost everything you need on your vacation. We bought from toothpaste, bread, jam, water, and much more. It was an easy checkout and we came back several times. Prices are good and the store is clean. If you are in the area this place is easy to shop in and you can pay cash or credit card.

I wasn't expecting to visit a national grocery store chain while in Paris but stuff happens. This…read morelocation was close to where we were staying and we needed some supplies plus its always interesting to see what's on and what's not on the shelves in grocery stores in other countries. The product section was not large but in general grocery stores in France and other countries are not big especially in the big cities like Paris selection is going to tight and limited. Tips. 1. Bring your own bags 2. Don't expect Winn Dixie Customer service 3. Looking for Lucky Charms isn't going to happen 4. Produce may look like it's expiring but it's not is still fresh and good. 5. The freezer section is going to be incredibly small and limited. 6. Expect a whole aisle of bottled waters Lastly, take pics and pick up bags of Lays flavored Roasted Chicken potato chips. Enjoy.
Helpful. Good stock. Prices reasonable Had what we needed in stock. Recommend to useread more

We only really used this grocer toward the beginning of the trip when we weren't yet familiar with our surroundings. If you venture out about 5 minutes, there's a large Carrefour Market with better selection. They have most things a groceries store would carry, just less selection; fruits, cereal, cookies, bread, cheese, milk, laundry detergent, snacks etc. Funny note: I went to the 8 à Huit after having gone to pick up a coffee from McDonald's. I put down my coffee cup to get money, and the cashier/owner picked up my cup and tried to scan it, and then consequently spilled half my coffee. I guess it was more frustrating than anything - have you seen me without my morning caffeine fix? Not pretty!

If you wish, they sell foldable reusable shopping bags for €0.99 that are handy. Staff is friendly, I didn't have a need to ask for anything but the cashiers were efficient and cheerful.
