Please before considering putting your child in this school be prepared to expose them to: drugs/smoking/ vaping, bullying, verbal abuse from students, unfair grading practices, discrimination from teachers and possible unresolved/ unsupported mental health issues due to stress, academic and social pressures. Nice SETTING BUT The academic level of this school is below par. The curriculum is about two grade levels BELOW what is normal in the United States in mathematics. The work is definitely not challenging. These are students who may live all around the world, and need to be prepared for competitive situations outside of the school Their curriculum definitely does NOT do that. read more

Our experience is that this school is called an international school but in fact it is a American school. And: It's way too big. Almost 2000 students has more the character of a learning factory. The pretty big class sizes make it hard to have a good learning atmosphere. Since FIS is a quite expansive private school, I think they should provide smaller classes where students get a better and more individualized support.
