Shook by the negative reviews on this place! Also laughing because they are in Swedish so I can't…read moreread them. This review is for the restaurant located at the primary hotel and as noted on this Yelp page. I had the best Swedish meal here and was in heaven. Not sure what everyone else experiences were but the food and outside patio are lovely. The restaurant atmosphere, food, menu, and price were 5 stars. Service was about 4 stars. I'll start with the service. The gals that waited on us were really nice. Super sweet and at first the meal had a great pace. The reason I docked a star was because as it the restaurant started to get busier the service started to lack. It became really hard to get our check and to get going towards the end of the meal. Also the waitress was a little inexperienced on the menu when we asked questions but that's okay. She was probably new. The restaurant itself is stunning inside and out. While the inside bar and restaurant was uber cute, the weather was just too nice to sit inside. Sat on the outside patio and it was lovely. Great views of the grounds and very private. I also thought the menu was great with a variety of appetizers and mains. Good cocktail list too. My meal here was fabulous! I started with the oysters and kid you not they were some of the best oysters I've ever had. I swear Europe has superior oysters compared to the states. These were meaty yet delicate. The right amount of saltiness and brine. Incredible I could have ate plate after plate of these. The Swedish meatball plate was a dream come true. I'll definitely be dreaming about this dish. The meatballs were super flavorful and the gravy was delicious. The potatoes were whipped super smoothly. And don't get me started on the real side of lingonberries which you can't seem to get in the states. The perfect Swedish comfort dish. I'll definitely miss this restaurant as the food was so well prepared and tasty. Even their complimentary bread was outrageously good. Forget that it's a hotel restaurant! If you are even on this side of town in Stockholm (across the street from the ABBA museum) you must come here for lunch. The food is really that good and I liked the atmosphere.

We almost turned around because of the low Yelp rating but decided to give it a try, and we are glad we did. The Hasselback potato entree is a set of 4 potatoes, with crème fraiche and each with duck pate, fish roe, beet dyed salmon, and steak tartare. They were incredibly good and would equate to a rich item at a fine dining restaurant in Los Angeles. The sirloin steak was expertly cooked and glazed, with flavorful veggies and crisp fries. We also had the arctic cod, which was delicious, and the kids' vegan spaghetti was so good. We couldn't figure out what the faux beef in the spaghetti was, but it was tofu! This place deserves a better rating on Yelp!
