The worker that initially did the job made it look worse than it did before, charged me double for materials, and only replaced the wood around 2/3 of the windows that I paid for. I was told by the manager that the worker did bad work for many other customers as well and was fired. Instead of redoing the work, the owner did a patch job with bondo that took two months to finish and left with my paint, which he lost. Then they installed an unpainted piece of wood that I cannot reach to paint. The office manager was very nice but spends her time making excuses for the lack of professionalism and rescheduling no show appointments. I am having to hire someone else with a ladder to finish the job and buy new paint.

I would never have called if I knew it would be a new charge and especially for something I could do myself. I scheduled an appointment with this company, namely Chris the owner, for an estimate on a framing…read morecarpentry job that included several jobs in one: removing an old door and building a window hole to install a window, fixing some drywall and repairing some wood molding around an existing window, repairing some cabinets, replacing facia boards on our home that were starting to rot, building up a spot in a ceiling beam at the top of our vaulted ceiling to create a flush-mountable area to install a ceiling fan, and fixing a broken rafter in our attic. All these jobs would've been cost worthy and only taken a week to 2 weeks to complete. After I made the appt with Chris to give me an estimate, my health wasn't good so I was forced to reschedule. He did not seem happy about that. When the next appt time rolled around, we had a hurricane that forced me to reschedule yet again a second time. He was REALLY unhappy about that but complied. When our appt day/time came around, 1 hour before our appt, he calls and tells me on my answering machine that he can't do our job because he just got into a job that would last him till the end of the year. Really??? Every single carpenter he employs can't come give me an estimate and is on that same job??? That went against every promise he vows on his website! I was furious. This owner Chris is not running a very good business if his entire panel of carpenters are unavailable to do a 1-2 week job when he was talking with me first before this other big job came along. That was extremely rude and unprofessional. Do not hire anyone from this company. You stand the risk of being treated the same way he treated me and my family.
