I am extremely disappointed with my experience consigning items with this business…read more I provided numerous items for consignment over approximately a two-year period, all of which were clearly tagged with my assigned consignor number. In addition to the items initially documented, I have video showing additional merchandise being dropped off and accepted by the business under my consignor number. Over those two years, I was only paid $50 each for four items. When I asked for payment, I was given no clear accounting or explanation of exactly what had sold, when it sold, or what I was being paid for. This became especially concerning once I realized how much merchandise I had consigned compared with what had been returned or accounted for. I gave the owner Liza approximately one month's notice that I would be picking up all of my unsold merchandise on August 22 and expected to receive payment for anything that had sold. When I arrived, I was only given back one wedding dress and my daughter's sweater. Numerous other items I had consigned were not returned to me, and I have still not received the full 40% payment owed to me for merchandise that was sold. Even more concerning, there was another person's wedding dress at the store marked with my consignor number, despite the fact that it did not belong to me. That made me seriously question how merchandise and consignor accounts were being tracked. I have repeatedly reached out to Liza (who doesn't respond) asking for either the return of my merchandise, payment for the items that were sold, or an accurate accounting of what happened to my items. I have given ample opportunity for this to be resolved. She has given nothing but far fetched excuses why she couldn't speak to me or be on location for my appointment to pick up my goods and since ignored. As a consignor, you trust a business with your personal property and expect accurate records, proper tracking of your merchandise, and payment according to the agreed-upon terms. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. I have documentation, correspondence, and video showing merchandise that was accepted under my consignor number. I simply want the money owed to me for anything that was sold and an explanation for the merchandise that was neither returned nor properly accounted for. Based on my experience, I would not trust this business with valuable or designer merchandise. Sell it yourself on an app like Vinted, where you maintain control and have a record of every sale. It's disheartening that a business built on handling other people's property operates this way.

The new checkout system is nice with the self-checkout options splitting off from those needing assistance, but it takes every opportunity to throw an impulse purchase in your face as well, like the checkout lines at TJMaxx or HomeGoods does. This store has a fairly large footprint so there is a good variety to pick from, but it's a touch unorganized, especially as they try to sell through their winter and Christmas items while still trying to put Valentine's Day and new fashion out on the floors. The deals can be good, especially with the Kohl's cash opportunities.

Everything else about this store reflect's Kohl's consistency - clean rest rooms, bargain racks, good sales.

I goto purchase clothes from here, tell the lady to run my Visa Debit card as Debit, she then tells me she can't accept my card because it has no signature on the back (I just renewed my debit card last month, forgot to sign the back) I tell her ok, whats the problem then I tell her to run it as Debit, obviously if it's my card I have the PIN number, you don't sign for a debit card purchase so why does my signature matter? I then even show her my Driver License showing you its my name on the debit card, I don't understand why they were not continuing the transaction. The cashier then told me again, "Because the back of my card isn't sign".So then I humor this girl, I go and then sign the back of my card, she then tells me the signature on my card doesn't match the signature my drivers license and I can't purchase the item, at this point I'm ready to flip out. YOU DO NOT NEED TO HAVE THE BACK OF YOUR CARD SIGNED IF YOU DO IT AS DEBIT, AS YOU DO NOT SIGN FOR A DEBIT PURCHASE. I then ask for there store manager, and this very snooty lady comes over, does not even listen to me for two seconds and tells me that its there company policy not to accept any debit cards without signatures, WHAT A LOAD OF BS, and said that she would do a courtesy store manager override to allow the transaction to go though, YOU DO NEED TO OVERRIDE AN EMPLOYEES DIGRESSION TO HARASS CUSTOMERS. The lady then tells me I am never aloud back in there store again!!!!!! Can you believe it I just gave these people money and now I am never aloud back because I questioned a transaction? This is America! There also didn't appear to be anyone working the shoe department, so while I was able to try on three pairs based on what was on the floor, there were two additional pairs I would've liked to try on. But there wasn't a call button or anything to get someone over there, and I knew there were other stores to browse for shoes in the mall, so I just went with one pair to checkout. Definitely a missed sale opportunity though for them not having someone on that department.

We placed an online order for bedsheets for in-store pickup at the JCPenney location in Wilton, NY, at a confirmed price of $52.42. We received no communication about the order all day and were only notified that it had been cancelled ten minutes before the store closed. The next day, we went to the store to understand what happened. The associate at the pickup counter told us the item was sold out. That statement was inaccurate. I walked about fifty feet from the counter and found the exact same bedsheet set on the sales floor, along with four additional identical sets still available. When we brought the item to the counter, the explanation changed. We were told the order may have been cancelled because it was considered a "doorbuster" and that the store would not honor the online price. When scanned, it rang up at over $75, more than $20 higher than the original online price. Another customer waiting in line immediately commented that the same thing had happened to her before and predicted they would refuse to honor the online price. We asked to speak with a manager to resolve what should have been a simple issue. We waited, and no manager came. When we followed up, we were told it would be another ten to fifteen minutes. The store was nearly empty on a Sunday afternoon, which made the lack of engagement even more frustrating. Based on both our experience and the confirmation from another customer in line, this location appears to have a pattern of cancelling online orders and refusing to honor advertised pricing, and it needs to be called out. This could have been easily resolved with basic customer service and management involvement. Instead, we were left feeling misled and dismissed. We will not be returning, and I strongly encourage others to be cautious when placing online orders at this location.

Yellow Boutique is a pleasant anomaly. The clothes are varied, good quality, and prices are SUPER reasonable. The owner is lovely, patient, and willing to take the time to style you if that's what you need help with. She'll also stay late to address all concerns and make sure you leave with what you're looking for or more. The "genre" of clothing is a combination of Madewell and Anthropologie. Some brands overlap too. All in all, 5/5. Check it out!
