I am a resident at Spring Ridge Apartments in Whitehall, Pa. for a number of years now. Spring Ridge uses Fox Pool Management for pool management and dispersing lifeguards. I must agree with the other reviews regardingFox Pool Management. Our pool is constantly dirty, there has been algae in the pool, lifeguards do absolutely nothing and are constantly on their phones. I've seen it where little children are going into the deep end without supervision and the lifeguard(s) do nothing. We need responsible people to help keep people safe. Plus I think Fox Pools should make surprise inspections. read more

The absolute WORST! Bottom of the barrel lifeguards. Would rate 0 stars if available. The lifeguards are way under sub-par.

This is the worst pool management company ever! BEWARE! Fox has been contracted to manage our pool at our apartment complex VOP (Village of Pennbrook) in Levittown. This summer our pool has not been clean or chemically treated properly. The water has been FILTHY DISGUSTING GROSS and super dangerous to the point that multiple residents had to contact the BOH (Board of Health) to try to get assistance. Mike, the owner or manager of Fox Pools has been unresponsive to our emails of concerns and questions. The lifeguards this summer are completely incompetent and lazy. They don't clean/skim the pool, check the PH levels like they're supposed to, or chemically treat the pool with chlorine to counter act the filth! The pool has been so dirty that most adults won't even go in it and we aren't allowing our kids in it until these problems are corrected. In addition, one lufeguard was laying out in the sun in a chase lounge like they weren't working, and was not watching the pool. In fact a child was drowning and the lifeguard wasn't even aware or watching! Residents at the pool had to dive in to save the child! Completely unacceptable! This company is awful. Think twice before contracting them because they do not honor the terms of the contract that they promise to commit to. Nor will you get a prompt response from management, IF you even get a response. read more

Our HOA company hired Fox Pool Management Company for this year. They were supposed to provide us with lifeguards. The main lifeguard called out and no-showed multiple times, resulting in the pool being closed. Fox's managers are not certified lifeguards, but should be. If their employee is a no show, they are responsible to fill the vacancy themselves. If they were certified, they could help fill that vacancy. The lifeguard also did not check the chlorine levels and never attempted to skim the pool. He sat on his phone with headphones on all day, disappearing for over thirty minutes at a time. We had one lifeguard out of 5-6 who actually did the tasks he was supposed to and only 2 who checked the chlorine levels while working. Fox had nothing but excuses and no answers or follow through. read more

This pool company was by far the worst management company in the 12 years I've been using our residential pool. The lifeguards they hired were inept at best. While the lifeguards were friendly and polite, they were only interest in hanging out with the friends they made while they were supposed to be working, including girlfriends. I once took a pic of one lifeguard snuggling with a girl while he was supposed to be watching the pool. Someone could have easily drowned and the guard wouldn't have known. We fired one guard for sleeping on the job - the first week on the job. Fox Pool Management was unable to manage their guards. They also failed to enforce the wristband rules and let anyone enter and swim in the private pool. Fox Pool Management would always commit to doing better, but it never happened. They are unable to manage the lifeguards they hire. Perhaps they should vet them more carefully. Eventually, all of the residents in the developed began to complain. We were glad when the summer and contract ended. This year's management company is much more professional and they actually supervise their lifeguards on a weekly basis. read more
