We booked "Treasures of Moctezuma" based entirely on the prior review and the escape room website…read morewhich suggested that clues would be provided in English and Spanish. Buyer beware, folks. We got an attendant who was disinterested in us, hardly able to speak English (he did apologize at the end for not being able to speak English well), and was super strict about counting clues. About his three clues, he just ghosted us. He didn't bother even saying that he had given us 3 clues. We experienced "radio silence" quite literally. I'm not even sure how he counted clues: in one circumstance, he watched us fumble around for 15-20 minutes and then told us the clue was missing and he would just give it to us. We walked in without a reservation, and the person at the front desk (can't remember his name) was amazingly helpful, even with the language barrier. We ended up doing, "El Tesoro de Moctezuma", which is a great beginner room. The clues are both in English and Spanish for this room, awesome if you are not fluent in Spanish. It is mostly a "search for the key" type of room with a couple of more complicated puzzles. Some of the locks we have never seen before, which was cool. The best part of this room is the decor though. We felt completely immersed!
