I am very pleased with & highly recommend Chris Dubeau's EarthCo Landscaping, whose team mostly…read moresurpassed my high expectations this past Jan. 24. I hired them to perform a variety of property improvements-- including numerous shrubs & small trees pruning & cutting, opening up "sight lines" through the woods-fringe in back of our house, and transforming a 20-year old landscape border along one side of our house. Chris's approach included a pre-job comprehensive walk-through of our densely-planted property to overview what his company could offer us. He & his crew showed up on time for their scheduled day of work, and after refining some aspects of the job with me, immediately went to work. Chris dispatched his team to the different tasks involved according to their skills, and then proceeded to join them... while always maintaining a "consulting" role in which he shares his vast knowledge of plants & landscaping to insure that the work is of the highest caliber. In a word, he is a true "hands-on employer." The crew worked steadily for the whole time they were on our property, and finished the job in 1 day, as promised. Chris's personable nature seemed to rub off on his employees who worked well together throughout the day. And Chris goes the extra mile throughout the completion of the job: e.g. he offered to carry away some waste materials for disposal at no extra charge. So, I wholeheartedly recommend this Co., and the comprehensive, efficient & effective approach they would bring to your job. They are worth what your cost will be, if you care about having your job done well & right.

The yard looks amazing, and Corby was a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process. He really listened to what we wanted and kept us involved every step of the way. We explained that we want to get away from grass and that we don't use the irrigation system that came with the house. Even though we were out of town while the work was being done, Corby kept us updated with photos and texts throughout the project. He even checked with us on the placement of a few of the larger plants before installing them. One thing we especially appreciated was his thoughtfulness. We had a large amount of pine needles that needed to be removed, and instead of hauling them away, he offered them to a neighbor who could use them. My sister was at our place and told me that Corby was very conscientious about locating and avoiding the irrigation lines during the installation. He was also extremely knowledgeable about plant care, including deer deterrence, watering requirements, and ongoing maintenance. What also stood out was his vision. He suggested incorporating boulders into the design, and at first we weren't entirely convinced. The more we talked about it, though, the more we could see what he had in mind. The finished result adds character and interest to the yard and feels much more unique than a cookie-cutter landscape design. Corby does outstanding work and is truly a joy to work with. I highly recommend him and his team!
