Kayla at Matthew Harris Law was the only person in the entire city of Lubbock that was able to handle my complex case. I will always use this attorneys office if the need arises!!! She knows her stuff, and will research your case and give you her best. She is very professional, yet personable. I have unfortunately had to deal with multiple lawyers due to the complexity and she is by far the BEST I have ever worked with. I would give this Law firm more stars if it was possible!

My experience with Travis Ware was an expensive mistake. I had to get a lawyer there in Lubbock,…read morewhile I live about 1,200 miles away. That was the first thing I said to the office.... But they proceeded to routinely "forget" I live out of state, email after email asking me to come in and do something, them being unable to figure out how to operate zoom to send a link for an appointment (after $5,000 I still never met with the man face to face!), culminating in Mr. Ware telling me he had failed negotiations (for a parenting plan adjustment) and needed me to "be at court at 9am tomorrow morning". When driving there takes roughly 20 hours...no planes land in Lubbock overnight....it was already 8:30 pm. When I found this to be a little upsetting, he fired me. And kept most of the money. If you are looking for someone to forget all the details of your case, take all your money to do nothing (all of that retainer, and the only thing he did in my case beside fail negotiations was file the paperwork to resign as my lawyer), and make your case take months extra needlessly, then go ahead and trust this lawyer with your time and money! If you want someone to actually be able to remember your details, present an effective argument, heck, even return an email in any kind of timely manner, go somewhere, ANYWHERE else.

His team drafted a demand letter for $1500 and sent it off to the business. The team thought they did so well they added $1100 more to the bill without notification. I formally emailed a letter asking to no longer move forward with the case as they proved they were the bigger crooks than the company I was needing help with. I would not recommend McCauley unless you have an endless supply of money. I never got a response to my email. They proved they only care about money and not the client. The baby momma is evil and was keeping the daughter on our scheduled visitation holidays like Thanksgiving and lying about why. For example, at one thanksgiving they said she had corona. I saw her at a wrestling tournament that weekend instead on the mom's fb posts. It was constant stuff like that that ruined our family's holidays and plans, and kept that little girl from spending time with us. We deserved time with her, too. Legally. But the mom didn't think so. So we hired Reid. Anyways, Reid is tough. My ex said he spent over $40,000 all in all paying Reid for our case with his daughter. Senseless costs. He will rack up your bill, and be cruel. If that's your preference, hire him. If playing dirty is not your style, and you don't want to go broke with your case, hire somebody else.
