I have very serious concerns about the Montgomery County Police…read more I was working as a poll-worker in Primary Day. A Montgomery County Police Officer working private security at the Bender Jewish Community Center of Greater Washington ejected me from a polling place in violation of the First Amendment. I was beyond the "No Electioneering" sign. contrary to what is seen in the video, the big sign that was right there was not the new election sign. The no election sign was several feet away from that and it was in bushes. I have been an election judge. I have been a poll worker. We tell people to get back behind the no electioneering sign all the time. That is for election judges. It is not for the bender Jewish community center of greater Washington to use an off duty police officer to eject a poll worker. The law says that they're supposed to make their parking lot available to members of the public for election hearing if they are a poling place. The officer would not permit me to gather signatures there because he has a conflict of interest in that he was working private security for the bender Jewish community center of greater Washington. . https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=SomYVK7ferU&pp=ygUIMTI1c2V0aG0%3D Subsequently the internal affairs division forwarded their investigation to the administrative charging committee of the police accountability board. The ACC miss quoted me saying that I said, "because it was not a polling place. The sign did not attach." That is absurd. These people are an abomination to justice. I had neighbors get their cars broken into. The police don't do anything about that because the Montgomery county Council will not let them. But they gladly eject pool workers from pulling places when they try to term limit our County Executive. This is the East Coast of the United States, not eastern Europe. Get it right!

The Metropolitan Police Department of Washington D.C. are heroes saving lives on a daily basis. I…read morewas in Southeast DC today at approximately 4:00 PM and witnessed the following incident. A female was laying on the ground having a medical emergency and two hero MPD police officers were there to save her life! She was convulsing on the ground and close to unconscious. It was a heartbreaking and gut wrenching sight, I felt so bad for her but so relieved and grateful that the two police officers were helping her! They put on gloves and followed all proper protocol to deliver emergency medical assistance. Their hearts are tremendous. I'm 100% certain that the poor woman's life was saved thanks to our heroes and this is just one example of all the amazing work the Metropolitan Police Department does every single day! God bless you all for helping people who are in dire need of help. With much gratitude and respect!

By 2:15pm 5 people left without filing a report because the 2 women and 1 male officer at the desk just ignored everyone there and never called one name in over an hour. I eventually left at 2:17pm and went to the station in Morgan Park 22nd district, where as soon as I walked in the door the White male officer asked me how could he help me. In and out in 10 minutes. It's like night and day how each station is operating in this area. The female cop even yelled at a guy asking a question while holding his young daughters hand. The guy left and I heard him say to his kid, "I guess they're too busy to help us" SMH. Poor management

Such a sad.. sad.. creepy building at 300 Indiana Ave. I feel truly bad for the people working…read morethere. Please, give them an update, some real signage, something. How about the one poor woman taking payments all the way in some decrepit room with the ceiling crumbling down in silence by herself, poor thing. The only place where there seemed to be any life was the background clearances waiting room. It surely had to be the smallest room in the building with the heat blasting only in there and the 12 seats crammed in there of course filled up so overflowing with people into the hallway. I chose to stand out there from the beginning of an empty room because it was that stifling and uncomfortable. Surely it quickly becomes smelly and is likely to make people sick being so close to one another. At least add some chairs outside the room in the hallway! I just want to bring them all something of cheer if I ever have to go back, but hope I never have a reason to be there again.

There was no signage indicating that leaving the waiting area for 15 minutes meant I would not be seen. I don't blame the people here for finding any excuse not to do their jobs and help people out, seeing as how understaffed they are, and considering their working conditions. The interior of the building looked like an abandoned high school out of a horror movie.
