After years of looking at the same floors, countertops, and backsplash in our second home in Galena…read morewe decided it was time for a change and stopped by Knautz's to look at their selection. They were very friendly and showed us some samples at the store. Later that afternoon, Mike Knautz came to our home and we were able to discuss choices with him. Once we made a decision, Knautz's promptly sent us an estimate. We sent in a payment and everything was installed very quickly. The work was professionally done and there were no cost overruns. We found the prices very reasonable. They also coordinated their work with the plumber (we were getting a new sink in the bathroom and kitchen) and the entire project went very smoothly. We are extremely pleased with the results and would hire them again.

(RATING - 0!!!) BEWARE of Bel-Aire, Dustin Dugan, and Kevin…read moreShaver!!! Bel-Aire did terrible work on the gutters and siding. We had to have them take the siding off and redo it. (It trapped water against the house.) Bel-Aire also has awful service too! Bullying in texting wanting their money before the work was done correctly. Contractor also got in my neighbor lady's face screaming and swearing at her. At 4am today, 4 inches of water pooled up in front of my stove. Water ruined microwave, stove, hardwood flooring, and possibly electrical unit in the basement. Still waiting 7.5 hours for Bel-Aire to show up and look at the damage. Five of my neighbors have huge complaints as well! And I am sure there's more... so, beware!

Did a great job on the roof. Gave 3 stars because the owner Don was rude towards me "who is renting…read morethe house not the owner who is paying him". Don left the quote he gave at my place and didn't email it to the building owner like asked. Then showed up at my place twice asking for it, and making it sound like it was my fault because I didn't keep it for him. Was very unprofessional about it. They left I huge rut in my front yard, and my flowers were flattened from them constantly stepping on them.
