You can generally play as many rounds as you want for your 10 bucks though. It's a fun little course. Don't be a jerk and sneak in after hours. The course needs money to keep up appearances. And they had the nerve to say we give a discount off the can price for 6 packs of beer only. The hills are quite challenging because you are hitting blindly if it's your first time here. The one thing about having fairways next to each other is that the ball from another course can get on the one you are playing on. Expect to duck when someone says "FORE!" I have played at all of the courses in our area and beyond. I've never been turned away because of cargo shorts. And they also told my friend that he has to tuck in his shirt. I always practice good golf etiquette. This was disappointing. I personally willing to pay $100 for a round of golf should not be turned away because of having pockets on the side of their shorts. I have to say that I really enjoy their food. They got a new chef at some point in the last few years and he's really turned the food around. My parents go here a lot and sure my dad's a shriner and likes to support the club, but the food is really good too. My mom always gets the crab cakes. My dad will get almost anything on the menu. I love the french onion soup. I think the last time I went I got the salmon and it was great. Maggie is the best waitress. She really gets to know her customers. I think she basically has my mom's order memorized. I've also been for brunch on Sunday and it's really nice. Buffet style, but they also have an omelet station. The food is solid and the mimosas are yummy. It's a great brunch option for the area. Also, just of note, you don't have to be a member to go to dinner here.
