Decent public course, a little steep for a public course. I recently played a golf tournament…read morethere and the food was sub-par. Nothing special. What really ticked me off was the fact that they charged me $36 for a 6 pack of High Noon. Now I understand that they are more expensive and they gotta turn a profit, but when you have 50 golfers playing in a tournament you know they are going to drink. That's just taking advantage of the situation. You figure they buy them for $2.25 a can. So they are making $3.75 a can. That's ridiculous. And they had the nerve to say we give a discount off the can price for 6 packs of beer only. Get lost. $72 for a 12 pack of High Noon when I just payed $85 to play your course and get fed shitty food. Just robbery and not cool etiquette.

The hills are quite challenging because you are hitting blindly if it's your first time here. The one thing about having fairways next to each other is that the ball from another course can get on the one you are playing on. Expect to duck when someone says "FORE!" Adding on, there seems to be a quicker pace of people in groups of four. [gnats will swarm you with no repellent]

Went to dinner on Saturday evening the experience seemed to be scripted to show maximum…read moreincompetence on all aspects of providing good service, and quality food. It was a terrible experience! Our server was very nice but was not paying any attention to his customers. The supporting staff were in trained and intrusive. The food was not served in a timely manner, they served two out of three salads to another table and we had to follow up. We were told they had run out of prime rib and a rib eye was offered - the served an over cooked end piece of prime rib anyway, wrong temperature and a huge piece of meat. Overall all entrees were mediocre to bad. The experience was so bad we knew it was time to leave, the check was presented with a Brunch Buffet charge of $19.95 added in error too. The background work going on by the staff seemed to forget that people were still dining in the dining room. These were generally speaking, a bunch of kids playing restaurant without leadership or skills to do the job. This is now part of the restaurant group that has taken over many area restaurants and they are not doing very well at this location.

Sunday Brunch -$20 / person. Drinks extra (Mimosa, Bloody Mary $10 each.)…read moreExcited to try this "higher end" brunch at the country club but disappointed. I would say if all you want is basic breakfast fare and to stuff yourself, then bacon, sausage, omellettes ok. No cheddar cheese for omellettes? - only goat. Bleu, mozzarella. Odd. No carving station. Chicken Calabrese way overdone and leather dry. Surprised to see scallops in a white sauce - they too were ruined rubber due to overcooking. Was not very busy and still could not keep all dishes in supply - many empty trays. Maybe a labor shortage? Staff was excellent and attentive. Atmosphere very nice with table cloth (no plastic). Final thoughts: Add 2 complimentary Mimosas, Peel & eat shrimp, stop overcooking the food, add a carving station (prime, ham, turkey) and charge $29.95. I think that would be a no brainer.
