As far as living arrangements go in Enid this one is pretty good. I have looked at many of the…read moreother places and this one is decent enough. It is part of three sister complexes, winchester west, Indian oaks and Edgewood arms. Of the three Edgewood arms is the best, Indian oaks probably being the worst. Rent for a 1 bed 1 bath currently is $500 a month which has gone up from $480 in the year I've been here. This price includes water, sewer, trash and heat. There are other floor plans available as well such as 2 bed 2 bath and 3 bed 2 bath. The grounds look like they were last updated a long, long time ago. When I moved in the sorry excuse of a tennis court was supposed to be renovated "soon" but I have yet to see anything happening there. The pool was recently redone and not to bad for a quick dip to cool off. The buildings are red brick and most are in need of a repair of some kind. Parking spots are first come first serve and covered parking is available with extra rent. Landscaping isn't the best as a lot of bushes are over grown. Grass is always kept in check though. The breezeways into the apartments are extremely old and smell of smoke. The apartments themselves are pretty nice. They clean them quite well before you rent and come with new hunter ceiling fans. Kitchens are extremely tiny with dishwasher, stove and fridge, all basic models. Walls are all white with no painting allowed. The top two floors come with balconies which is a nice touch and give added room. I had to ask many times to get a screen door for the balcony only to have one rigged in of poor quality. Closets are big and have walk through from the bedroom into the bathroom. Only one window besides balcony door that's in the bedroom. Apartments feels old that's been attempted to look new. It feels like behind all the new on top is a lot of mold and old. They have on occasion randomly shut off the water to do work without notice which can be very frustrating to say the least. The staff seem to be hit or miss. You have to ask them many times to do something and when they do it's usually subpar. Overall though they at least do something. Not really much expected in Enid.
