My friend got baptized at Rez Church and has been attending the church with his family for quite a…read morewhile. They are happy with the church, the members, and the teachings. The church is massive with ample amounts of parking. Free coffee as you walk in as well as a cafe with coffee, smoothies, and snacks (see picture). The music and service stood out to me. You could tell this is a well-run church.

The Pastor of this church sued me, my sister, a missionary grandmother, a single mother of 4, and…read moretwo other women, for speaking about things now proven true (That "pastor" has since resigned). The lead team, overseers, and trustees collectively encouraged the lawsuit, in violation of 1 Corinthians 6, which forbids lawsuits among believers. They are still picking a new pastor mid-February 2026, while numerous people involved in scandal have made quiet exits with no rebuke. There have been no apologies, or restitutions made, for years of public smears (official church videos that went out about us as liars)(guest speakers that have disparaged our character)(nothing said of their financial and mental damage), that have brought ruin to many lives. My own sister could benefit from monies returned for health complications not covered by insurance, that that church took through an evil lawsuit while supporting a deviant. Bowls of wrath in Heaven above, are spilling over.

I loved going to Faith for about five years. There I met a community of committed Christians, who,…read morewhile more conservative than I, tended to focus on issues and problems that united the church rather than those that divide it. I served for years on the Hospitality team, just doing things like making strawberry basil lemonade and cucumber mint water for hundreds at a time, plus the monthly waffle night where we made hundreds of Belgian waffles with all the possible accoutrements. But I discovered my welcome was skin deep, even to those who pretended to love me (I'd even flown the Atlantic to cater a picnic in Paris for them), as I struggled with issues of homosexuality. The teaching staff was woefully undereducated on this issue, which was surprising considering it's massive impact in the culture wars. Long story short: I was given an ultimatum that I must not ever publicly state that homosexual relationships could be of equal moral value to heterosexual ones. If I didn't comply, I'd no longer be welcome. I didn't, and left, deeply hurt by the knowledge that my ostensible friends and "church family" chose their comfortable, lazy church where no one really questions anything over a deep, fruitful relationship of years standing.

I have been a member of Faith my whole life and have always felt welcome. The community of people…read moreare so welcoming and friendly. The hospitality team is very helpful and even during COVID-19 they have made it their goal to share the gospel with as many people as possible. If you are looking for a good Evangelical church, this is the place to be.

After living here for almost a year and sampling many churches, we really enjoy this church. We…read morecame from a larger metropolitan Lutheran church and many of the things we appreciated there can be found here. Pastor Chris is warm and human with good messages; lots of kids; lots of activities for the size; good musicians and most important-a true outward facing attitude of helping the community and walking the walk of the Gospel! My favorite Lutheran attitude of "You're already saved-now what?" seems to truly live in this church. So glad we found Trinity!

To G.W. and others who might read this post I'd like to invite you to Trinity Lutheran Church to get to know us better. We have a very socially minded and family centered church that reaches out to the homeless, orphaned, needy, sick, young, old, and those in between. We have given over $100k to World Hunger, contributed to building Habitat homes in Loveland, Colorado, and Somoto, Nicaragua, restored homes in Greenville, KS, and have an amazing pre-school. Our youth program in one most churches our size would envy. Please come and try on our family for a week or two. See what you think. I think you will find a loving Christian community with open arms.
