I really love the ambiance and the girls that work the counter are so nice and helpful. Drinks are unique. Food could be better. The quality of bacon is the same as the pre cooked bacon from Costco, a few tweeks on the quality of some of the items would make a big difference.

Foundation Coffee in Riverview is a must-try local gem. This distinctive outdoor coffee spot consistently impresses, offering excellent coffee and flavorful made-to-order food. The friendly staff, coupled with a variety of seating options--both open and covered--creates a welcoming environment. Whether you prefer coffee or tea, their convenient drive-through and online ordering services enhance the overall experience. I enjoyed their iced shaken espresso and their bacon croissant the most! This isn't your average breakfast sandwich as it comes with some yummy goat cheese spinach, and garlic aïoli! Reassured they have something for everybody even the kiddos! And they even have options to purchase their bagged coffee. I highly recommend visiting when you're in the area, and it's certainly worth a drive if you're not.

A little pricey for what it is but overall it's a nice smooth drink! I finally got to try Foundation Coffee which a super cute food truck with a nice patio setting to enjoy yourself at with a nice muffin or a yummy espresso drink. Now I will say the caramel macchiato was yummy but I'm the person that orders less ice and is okay with it not being filled. It always get watered down before I can finish my drink. But would I stop in again absolutely.

Sad they unfortunately closed and now there's no good coffee in all of East Tampa / Brandon / Riverview. Wish they would open a location at one of the new strip malls that are being built around town

Absolutely love this little coffee spot. If you love lavender like I do, definitely check this spot out. They have various flavors you can add to any drink, such as lavender. In addition to unique eats. Theres a goat cheese sandwich to die for as well! A little off the beaten path, but worth the drive. It's setup like a food truck, with a cute area outside to relax or a drive thru if you're in a hurry. There's also a rewards app worth checking out that you can preorder or just use to accumulate points. Love this place!!

Very cute local coffee spot - the sign by the tree at the entrance is simply gorgeous (see photo). I ordered a small iced latte with lavender flavoring and then said why not and asked for honey rose in it too. That part might have been a little bit of an overkill, but it was fun to experiment regardless and the staff was so kind and sweet about it. We went on a chillier day so I didn't get to quiet experience sitting on the outdoor furniture, but the set-up was lovely and I would love to come back on a warmer day to work outside with coffee.

The other day I met a girlfriend at Foundation Coffee to share a cup of Java and catch up together; I hadn't seen her in WAY too long! The coffee here turned out to be excellent; they also have a nice selection of pastries and donuts - they even have gluten free items (which is all my friend eats these days). I enjoyed a thick slice of carrot cake with an even thicker layer of cream cheese frosting on top - completely delish!

Cool little coffee spot! They operate in a truck and have a quaint outside seating area. It's beautiful underneath the trees and it's very shady! Parking lot is all gravel and dirt so just watch your shoes! I got the iced latte with the honey rose syrup. Super delicious! Stop by if you're in the area

Great outdoor seating. Perfect for Florida. Ordered drip coffee and a banana muffin. Coffee was good, Muffin was really flavorful and full of actual banana but a little small. Really popular local spot, lots of people coming for their morning drink. A little bit pricey for what you get. Staff was very nice and attentive.

This is the perfect place for a quick coffee run or to unwind and check your emails while enjoying a delicious latte. I've stopped by a couple of times now to do just that! they have delicious coffee. The atmosphere is very chill and cozy. The bathrooms are kept very clean. They are located right off of 8th ave, in Ybor, between two huge parking lots. They also have a couple of spots located right in front of the cafe so parking will never be an issue. I can't wait to check them out again and I hope you do too!

It is a nice calming place.

This place looks pretty established as a food truck coffee shop. The parking lot is loose gravel/dirt. The girls that make the coffee were very pleasant. The coffee is ehhhh....and is a bit overpriced for what you get. Their large latte is about 4-5 ounces after the ice. It's an outside only place, so be prepared during the hotter months...they do seem to have an industrial fan to make it a little cooler, but maybe bring some sun block and insect repellent if you plan on chilling here (in the hot months). It is pretty relaxing even though it's right next to Fishhawk Blvd.

Guava pastry served nice and warm. Loved it!

It's time to update this review. I've only been to this original location of Foundation Coffee a couple of times in the past. I've always liked their espresso, but never got a chance to try any of their signature lattes until now. Mainly because I don't remember seeing it on the menu before. I had to stop by today after reading a recent review about their Lavender latte. I'm so glad I did. I had a day off from work so I decided to drive over there. Not too terribly far from where I live, but not close enough to get it on the commute to work. The menu has many different flavored lattes. I decided to try the Honey Rose. The last time I had a rose latte was at Chocolate Pi. Sadly, they are no longer in Tampa. Well, the one I had today was even better. I was thrilled. This had a very natural rose flavor and quite possibly because they make their own syrup. I didn't even have to sweeten it with anything because of the honey (which I normally use for coffee anyway). It was perfect, and totally complimented my fresh guava pastry. It was served warm and fresh. I was so happy with it that I had to ask who made it. I was told a nearby bakery on 301. If you're local, then you totally know which bakery. I was so happy to hear that these local businesses are supporting each other. If you like eating outdoors, then this is the place for you. The patio was built by Outdoor Impressions (a company who has been featured on HGTV). I believe it's the same family who owns Foundation Coffee. It's a great outdoor area under a very large oak tree that gives off lots of shade. There's also a pergola which is where I was sitting this morning, and surrounded by the lovely sound of waterfall fountains nearby. They have a drive-thru as well if you're not into the unpredictable Florida weather. The service was fantastic! I didn't even have to tell them to warm up my pastry. It's so NOT Starbucks which is great. I'm so looking forward to returning so that I can try their Spicy Honey latte.

The restaurant was very clean and had such a cozy, welcoming vibe, making it the perfect spot to sit back and enjoy a great breakfast. I ordered the Lumberjack, and everything came out great. The eggs were cooked perfectly and placed on top of the mashed potatoes--not cooked together--but honestly, it still worked really well and tasted amazing. One thing I really liked is that you can sub the biscuit for French toast or pancakes. I chose the French toast, but the Lumberjack is so much food that it was honestly hard to even get to it . Everything was delicious, and I'd give this place a 10 out of 10--I'll definitely be back. Shoutout to our waitress Sienna, who was absolutely amazing. She was super friendly, recommended a bunch of great options, and made deciding easy. She checked on us often and even brought out a new syrup they make for us to try, which was so good. This place will definitely be seeing more of me!

Please consider supporting this business expansion so that it remains available to us. This does not appear to be an experiment to see how it goes. All of the signs, including outdoor signs, have been updated or replaced to announce that the business is open for dinner. The dining room is too bright. I suggested to server, who passed my comment on, that they should figure out how to dim the lights or turn some of them off. Speaking of the server, she was very friendly, efficient and accommodating. Our server's name was Ava, and she is an immigrant of Greek and Albanian descent, who has been in the United States for 29 years. Ava happily brewed a fresh pot of decaf for us and offered drinks for us to take with us. We were given the regular menu and a dinner supplement. I have attached copies of the dinner supplement and you can see there are varied options--and you can also see how reasonably priced the options are. Portion sizes were great. Too much for us, anyway. I had the fried shrimp platter and the $13.95 price included the shrimp, french fries, sauteed green beans and a really nice dinner salad. Joanne had the chicken salad croissant sandwich. She really liked her sandwich. I liked my dinner but being candid, I would be surprised if the shrimp were breaded in house as opposed to prepared and frozen by the purveyor. I will try something different next time or will have the shrimp grilled. Portions were plentiful. Overall, we had a really enjoyable experience. Based on the food, the location and the prices, we are certainly happy to support Eggtown for dinner.

Colombian spots like this are my jam & it's been on my list to visit for a minute now. The breakfast Sammy definitely set this place apart from the rest. I placed my order with the friendly attendant the wait was a bit long but there was plenty of seating inside (i didn't realize how big this place was inside!) so i sat with my book and before i knew it i was walking out with my order! Thankfully i don't live far so i was home with my order in no time. The breakfast waffle Sammy was delicious i ordered mine with sausage and split half of it with my husband. It was soft and cheesy and I'd definitely get it again next time. I also ordered 3 regular pan de Bonos, an arepa con queso, alfajores, and i heard the guava and cheese muffins were a must so i grabbed one too. Oh yeah and two cafe con leches. I see they have lunch as well so I'm gonna have to go back for a lunch Sammy and maybe some empanadas. I love that they have all the tables inside.
