Albums, faux flowers/greens, comic books, toys, vintage home decor and also for sale is a small selection of new farmhouse decor. The inventory is quite the range of old, very old and new. Separated into little stalls, each unit is rented by a different seller and the presentation is beautiful. The staff at Quaker Antique Mall are helpful ~ however you are followed around a bit but I suppose they just want to make certain nothing is leaving the mall without money exchanged.

The place is clean and well-lit. Each booth is a little shop on its own filled with unique and affordable treasures. In addition to a wide variety of antiques, collectibles, jewelry, toys, and glassware, they have decorative crafts, rustic furniture, vintage clothing and accessories. They even sell locally sourced honey at the front desk! It's a great place for serious and savvy collectors as well as "just browsing" treasure hunters looking for something "new" to feather their nest.

We had to go and check them out. The owner is incredibly kind and answered all of our questions. The shop is an amazing collection of unusual antiques, taxidermy, hand made pieces, jewelry, cards, stickers, t-shirts, vintage flannels and more. There is lots to look at and something for everyone. Prices are reasonable. In addition to all the oddities, there is also a strong message of acceptance and inclusion. What a wonderful addition to this small town. I plan to be a regular.

This review is based off my experience a few months back. I'm a tad behind on my reviews but…read morefortunately still have my notes. While thrifting in the area the furniture outside caught my eye. Although this store wasn't on my thrifting radar, once inside I had a case of Deja vu and believe I might have been here in the late 90's. Not really a thrift store, it's a bit strange in the merchandise they carry, as well as layout. There's room set ups consisting of used and antique furniture pieces, many priced much higher than they should. Off to the side is "buyout" type merchandise (think Ollie's) - which was reasonably priced. In the back were older items, well past their prime that perhaps were from a yard sale or picked from someone's curb on trash day. Further in the back is new, modern (although some a bit tacky) furniture that's cash and carry and/or rent to own. Even with the displays the space feels like a warehouse filled with stuff. Somethings were admittingly unusual (throne chair, suit of armor), but most were mundane or dated items you could get anywhere for less. There's a distant smell throughout like musk and mildew. The cashier/front desk had a pawn shop feel and I wouldn't be surprised if that's how some of the items were obtained. There seemed to be some "regulars" hanging out just for something to do that didn't appear to be making purchases. There's no one on the sales floor to assist you. So while I love thrifting and hunting for unusual pieces, this store didn't cut it for me. It's suffering from an identify crisis for one, and has too many things going on to really know for sure what it is - antique store, yard sale, salvage, etc. Prices were unreasonable for the majority of the items for sale, customer service non existent, and I wouldn't pay them another visit.

Here one can find a multitude of treasures including furniture, pictures, collectibles, jewelry, toys and items of every kind. Unfortunately my wife and I ended up having a bad experience, after what initially started out…read morebeing a good one. We had to make the conscious decision not to support a company that believes in not only keeping but selling racist cartoon work from the past. Tucked away in the back room is a shelf of racist minstrel show cartoons that can not and should not be ignored. There is no justification for it, not then, not now, not ever. My wife was immediately bothered and made uncomfortable after seeing it. Not everything from the past should live on, and businesses who plan to operate in a country where not everyone looks the same, should have the intelligence to deny pieces that are diabolical and hateful. We were recommended this consignment shop by my father-in-law who is a black man. We will 100% be letting him as well as the rest of my in laws know of our findings within this store. We have to be better as people, and the only way that is done, is by thinking of others when we make decisions, especially in business.
