Yesterday, I was in a rare situation where I needed a single, high quality photo print -- color ink, photo paper, and a good printer is not something I generally keep in my home. As you'd expect, there's a few brick and mortar stores to do this in Tampere. I chose Fotomax because, in contrast to some of the competition, they don't have a minimum order or per-order service fee. I found the place easy enough and made it there before it closed -- mind the tightish business hours. The self service photo machines were easy to use and had many languages to choose from. I had the picture on a USB thumb drive and used that to transfer, although the machine offered many other options like Bluetooth etc. Prints in under an hour? Try a print in 5 minutes! The staff member was very friendly when we briefly conversed in both Finnish and English. Fotomax was super easy and affordable -- my total out the door was 50 cents.
