Living in Los Angeles and trying to find a photographer in Rosarito was a little bit skeptical at first but once I came in contact with Studio digital fotografia I was convinced I was in good hands. We had been in constant contact via WhatsApp for about a year and a half. The day of our wedding anniversary Sam and Nancy were absolutely amazing. From taking pictures at every angle and capturing every moment was priceless. It took about 2 weeks before I received my edits and proofs of pictures and wow was I Blown Away. As with many other engaged couples, the pandemic had thrown a small wrench in our plans of a…read moretraditional wedding with a reception. Only the *tiniest* bit bummed, we decided to still get married and scheduled our civil ceremony. But now, I want a photographer to document this event... I think I found Emily on Instagram, after looking around at different photographers' work. I remember really liking Emily's style, how natural everyone looked, and how well Emily captured the moments. I think those were/are the most important things for me for choosing a photog, and it helped that Emily has (solid) reviews for me to go through as well. Emily was prompt in responding via email, and offered to chat on the phone to discuss the details and what I wanted. After talking for a bit, I sent over a deposit and we were set! Or not... because a week or two before our shoot, I looked at my civil ceremony appointment time and it was actually for 8am, NOT 8:30am. Yikes! I text Emily, nervous that she wouldn't be able to make the earlier time, and I would need to scramble for another photographer, but thankfully, Emily is flexible and okay with the earlier time. Phew! I also wasn't quite sure *what* I wanted from the photos (POSES? props!? specific backgrounds?!) but found some pictures I liked and sent them to Emily a day or two before our appointment, so she had an idea what I was going for. I appreciate Emily's responsiveness! The actual civil ceremony felt a little hectic; we did not know what it would entail -- paperwork, of course, and then waiting because there were other couples that were getting married that day. Thankfully, Emily was very patient. Emily is personable, friendly, and professional. She is very easy to work with, and helped the husband (!!) and I feel comfortable. Nothing felt forced, and I think she did a great job of eliciting and capturing our authentic moments. We are super pleased with the pictures and I can't stop looking at them! Lol. I would *definitely* solicit Emily's services again. Maybe for one of her fun mini shoots down the line. What a cute, low pressure and creative way to get some quality photos! We went to Rosarito for small getaway. But my mom wanted to make memories out of this. I live in Texas so I have no idea of any photographer in the area, or how do I even begin. So I went to Yelp and search for a photographer. Rafael was quick to respond to my message. I think it was about 20mnts after I messaged him. He was very friendly from the beginning. And so flexible. We have a lot of voices and want. Lots of opinions. But with every request coming to him all he said was "don't worry I got you guys" which is very assuring. He came in 30 minutes early. And he is seriously AWESOME!!!! He waited for us, told us to take our time to get ready and when we are then we'll take the pictures. Mind you we have 2infants under 1, 1toddler (2years old) 1 teenager that does not smile lol and 8 adults! It's always chaos when we are trying to do anything but... Rafael was very very calm. The way he took our pictures also. Very seamless, and very relaxed. We have done a couple professional pictures and always feel like we are in a hurry with timing because the photographer always has been super strict w their timing. But not one time Rafael made us feel like that at all. The turn around was also very quick. He told us 10days which is expected. And he actually was ready within 3days. Pictures turned out amazing.
