Booking FotoBoyz was hands down the worst decision I made in planning my wedding. Prior to the event, emails were never answered and communication was difficult. The morning of my wedding, I received a frantic call from the attendant explaining she would be late. Photobooth was to display our monogram - it did not. Our contract included an album for guests to sign and post pictures. Attendant forgot the album and four weeks later we were mailed an album with random drawings and stickers. 2 hours into reception, the attendant pulls me aside and asks when her vendor meal would be served. I initially looked into Fotoboyz a month prior to my event, and the communication was a little inconsistent, both during the initial estimate, as well as during the front-end of graphics design. However, FotoBoyz ended up coming through in the end, and I need to give special thanks to CJ, Graciano, and Will. After my initial rep didn't respond to me, CJ made me feel like a valued customer, answering all of my questions, and making sure the right people were in place to make my event a success. Graciano was the graphics designer I worked with, and his work with customizing my backgrounds turned out great! Finally, Will was the on-site attendant. If you get Will, he will do everything he can to make sure your event is successful. He was enthusiastic throughout the event while in-charge of the green screen experience, and he took pictures throughout the event. He also brought in a speaker from his house to hook up for music when our event was missing a speaker. That is above and beyond service, and I highly recommend requesting Will if you have an event in Boston. He was great! My rating is 5 stars for the ultimate delivery and much of that is thanks to CJ, Graciano, and Will, but I had to knock it down 1 star due to the initial communication in which the first rep that I worked with wasn't very responsive, and caused a little stress a week or two out from my event with nothing firmly in place. In the end, it will depend on the people who are assigned to work with you at Fotoboyz, but I plan on using them for a future event. Finally, a note for bigger groups..for the Green Screen, if you're ordering one for a party that likes to take group pictures, ask them how they can accommodate you. I got the smaller one (better for 1, 2, or 3 people), but I think Will told me that we can ask about a bigger green screen during the estimate if we tend to take group pictures. read more

We planned our daughter's quinceañero to be celebrated on June 3 ,it took us a while to get everything in place a lot of time and many sacrifices and you were included to be part of this celebration which is for any father one of the most important celebration on your daughter's life, Let me tell you what happened. We contact you to be the photo booth person that day we drove about 45 min just to get to your company's location, just to make sure we were on the same page for that day, you charge for that day was $1700 and we paid you that same day $1000 just to make sure we get you on June 3,extra props were also paid. That price was 6 hours of your time 1 hour previous of the function to set up ad 5 hours of taking pictures, not only you weren't there to set up but you never answered my phone calls, you showed up at 9.45 pm about 1 1/2 hours for the event to be over and not explanation was never given to me, no even a conversation just to explain yourself, actually you crashed the party when every guest was having a great time they were asked to take a picture on your photo booth, pictures on a very low quality and only one size , when you advertise other sizes , great quality and props for Alice and wonderland that I paid for in advance and never were presented to me. Not only that. You took some attributions to send me a frame of a guy with my daughter that I never asked for or even remember to talk about this , basically a paid $1000 for 2 hours of photo booth service and the only way you found to apologize for been so irresponsible with your job was this. I ask you nicely to take off all the pictures taken that day from any advertise page you get ,that's the least you can do for my daughter I don't want to see any of you lousy work done that day anywhere. I give you 2 stars just because you are a good sales person but a lousy manager and owner to achieve what you sale. read more

I had planned an event and used FotoBoyz's services. Even though they were a little late, due to some confusion in emails, once they got there, everything was an absolute blast. Fotoboyz really added something special to the night. Everyone enjoyed taking photos with funny props. Mike and Louis from Fotoboyz are very unprofessional and extremely rude. They hire you to work, then when it comes time to be paid they either force you to wait around for an extra 30 minutes to an hour at their leisure or DON'T PAY YOU AT ALL. Louis had my check and refused to give it to me after completing my agreed 3 hours of work. Instead he insisted I contact Mike. I contacted Mike and still have not been paid. I have been waiting for payment for 7 months now. I have text messages from Mike back in March 2018 saying he would pay me, but he still has not paid me. I had a car issue and he agreed to pay for the length of time worked at the event (I worked a full 3 hours as agreed). This was the con, a total scam. He had no intention of paying me for any of the time worked. I have recently requested the money from him on Venmo (as suggested by another worker who gets paid this way since FOTOBOYZ always have issues with their checks) and he has denied it twice already. read more
