Last october my sister came to my wedding and during that time she went to this photography shop to…read morebuy a new lens to her camera. Since she is not living in Germany, she asked a receipt with tax return, person who prepared the document made a mistake and put just copy of the receipt into the form. When we went to airport and ask for return, they said they cannot make it because receipt is a copy not original!!! When my sister went back to home, she called the tax return company about the situation and the company said if she can get the original receipt they can send money (88 €, not so less!). I went there on Saturday for asking the original and they said it is not possible right now because it is Saturday. I said ok and asked if it is ok when my husband will pick it up. After getting yes as an answer, I gave them his name and number of the receipt to make sure that they had everything. And today my husband was there and he could not get it because responsible person is not there right now but they can send it via mail. German shops are not known with their high quality services but this is really unacceptable for me. The mistake is belonging to them but I am the one who has to deal with! There were at least 4 full working days and somehow that "responsible person" did not have any time to print out or check for the original receipt! Lets see how long will it take until they will send it!!! But from now on I will not recommend or let any friends or relatives to have a business in there.
Update: After 3 years later, the shop had a nerve to make a complain about my review and say "The customer received the original receipt from us. The review contains wrong facts." I would like to ask when did the customer get the receipt? And from who? I can tell you; after nagging and coming to your shop couple of times, I was able to get the original. And then I had to send via post to real customer, who was my sister by the way. She is living another country and as one can guess, she did not have the opportunity to contact with the shop and get the receipts. Although I was living in Germany, it was not that fast! 3 years past and I am still behind my review and such a behavior showing that I should not feel sorry about my review, not a bit.
