Now some swanky tapas bar that push pizza.you can still get fish and chips from the shop next door but the way it's served is a little demeaning. Maybe the world has changed in the way the good old British public receives its fish and chips by the seaside. Deconstructed with wraps replacing bread and butter. It was as tasty as normal but I'm afraid it will be take away for me from now on.

They also make my rare and guilty pleasure- spam fritters- which you have to wait a few minutes for (then a few minutes to cool down, because it's hotter than the surface of the sun) and they are most definitely entirely bad for you- but meh. I was a student when I first came here- so one thing that was particularly good were the "nosh boxes" a something (fishcake/sausage/etcetc), chips, and a "splash", peas, gravy, curry etc etc for darn cheap. The staff are lovely, they do a range of stuff, I never saw the place dirty, and importantly, they do scraps.
