This review is long overdue…read more I've been working with Amanda, Cathy, and her team since 2019. Starting my small business, they were there to help me at tax time and complete the whole process of becoming an S-Corp. Ok, first of all - YES I'm beyond excited about what Amanda and her team were able to do for my small business taxes. The pricing is fair and you're getting top-notch attention. I like their new portal for organizing all your files online. Last, I'm amazed that her team was able to help me this 2022 tax year because this family has been through a direct loss in the family, Neil. I'm sorry about the news. However, Amanda and the team have always been there to give me insight and get the job done. Thank you, ladies! You're amazing.

Amanda and her team made sure to set up quarterly touchpoints with us to review our W2 and tax liability to ensure next tax season would be more favorable. She really worked with us to ensure we were utilizing all the pre-tax benefits to set us up for a good position next tax year. I appreciate the follow through and treating us kindly when it comes to the uncomfortable discussion about money.

It is the best money I spend every month. I've now started working with Cheri and Kimber for payroll and managing my employee's w2's. The gist - they are ultra responsive, personable, and good at what they do. I know this because I make a lot of money but don't get crushed every year with taxes. Suzie is always available for a call and encourages me to come into the office for accounting 101 from time to time. If I have an idea to run by her she gives me advice or puts me in touch with the right people. They are great. Use them.

**RUDE AND OVERPRICED. They requested I pay $500 for work that I ended up paying another CPA $100…read morefor.** I had the misfortune of dealing with Ms. Suzie, a rude and condescending business representative that made sure I will never be using the services of this firm and its bloated fees. As part of my green card application I was asked by my immigration lawyer to provide the immigration authorities with a letter from a CPA. The letter was about three lines long and required minimal accounting work, which summed up to estimating 2013 annual income based on previous tax return filings. Basically, a work that would take more time to type up than to prepare the "analysis" (which had already been put together by another bookkeeper who had provided Ms. Suzie with the materials and the analysis beforehand). It seemed that Ms. Suzie, too, was well aware of the minuscule amount of work my letter required, since when I asked for an ETA she indicated that the letter could be produced within less than a day. I'm assuming that my question also indicated to Ms. Suzie my pressing need for the letter, as I had also mentioned to her that I was required to submit it as part of my immigration process. Ms. Suzie told me that writing the letter would cost me $500. Yes, you read that right. 500 bucks for three lines and a few minutes worth of work!! At first, I was certain I had misstated to her what the letter should contain and that as a result of that Ms. Suzie may have been under the impression that I had required more work than what was really needed, since surely no one in their right mind would charge so much for such little work. When I called Suzie to inquire about the fee I was faced with a condescending and rude tone that quickly turned into a full on obnoxious and testy attitude when I tried to make sense of her fee (if it was a flat consultation fee, for example, or an hourly charge). Not only did Suzie avoid answering my questions, but she also hissed at me that she "urges" me to "go around and call other CPAs", since she is "sure" that I would get some other firm to write the letter for me for a smaller fee, and that she is "happy" with that. I have no idea why anyone would talk to a client this way, but I sure am not going to give business to this kind of rude customer service. I hope that Suzie's understanding of my immigration status and pressing need for the letter didn't factor into her decision to jack up the price for me. I don't know. But given that she was so reluctant to explain her fee to me I also can't know better. I would like to mention though that I do not know Mr. Wendroff and I have never spoken to him about the fee I was given nor the work I was asking for, so it might be that he was not involved in my request at all. If so, I'm very sorry for giving his business such a bad rating, which is solely based on my awful experience with Ms. Suzie Korth.

Chaz helped us bring clarity to all of it. He worked with us to build a comprehensive plan for our family, breaking down our expenses and guiding us on how much to save and how to allocate funds, including contributions to a Roth account. One of the most valuable takeaways was his thorough review of our key documents, he caught an issue with my Simple IRA at work that wasn't vesting properly, which we were able to address right away. He also recommended moving our savings into a high-yield account earning around 4% interest instead of the 0.1% we were getting before, which was a huge eye-opener. That one shift alone made a big difference in how our money is working for us. What really stood out is that Chaz is not salesy at all. There was no pressure or push to sign up for additional services. He simply provided thoughtful advice, a clear plan, and even scored our overall financial outlook. He was punctual, committed, and used great tools to present everything in an easy-to-understand way. He also took the time to understand my more complex investments, something many advisors struggle with, and helped us set up a solid plan for our child's investment account. 100% would recommend working with him.

He is a great listener and an even better at asking the right questions. He helped me get out of a variable universal life insurance contract that my previous advisor sold to me unethically. Basically saving me from a lifetime of paying $500/month for something I do not need for my situation. As a woman investor who also works in finance, I know I needed to work with a fiduciary who would always act in my best interest. After some research, I found that he is a CFP, EA, and a Fiduciary with a background in tax planning, which has really helped me save on my taxes. Every meeting with him has been productive, and it's nice knowing I'm actively getting closer to my financial planning goals. I appreciate the way he gets to know me and my goals. He made recommendations that feel true to what I want out of life, and taking the time to explain things when I needed. There is a difference between an advisor who only focuses on my investments vs. Chaz, who focuses on my investments and also looks at everything else, like my overall financial planning, my taxes, my estate plan, my insurance, my benefits at work... the list goes on. I have been recommending him to all my friends.
