Even the food is very British, too. The personnel is very friendly and always has a smile or laugh for you. My favourite bar in Münster.

According to the menu notes, the family got into the F&B business 4 generations ago. They cheekily say that the town hall is next to them as opposed to the restaurant being next to the town hall. After tasting their sausages, we are inclined to agree! Seating was a surprise. No reservations and you do not wait to be seated. The waiter told us to grab a table as soon as the previous occupants leave. The white sausages were served in a consommé. The brown sausages were served with sauerkraut. The food, the views, the great weather (when there's great weather), and the excellent wurst. Lots to choose from on the menu, seems like the kind of place anyone can find something to enjoy. And by the time you're a few beers in ... you'll enjoy everything even more! Likewise can't complain about the service - our server was quick to point us to a table, get us a bottle of water, and came back a few times to see if we were ready to order (quite a lot of menu to review so it took us a while). What more can you ask for? Great lunch or dinner spot in the heart of town.
