General Tsos chicken lunch special
Marie Mauritz K.

Neighbor recommended lunch special. Quickly seated in an immaculate and tastefully decorated dining room. Soothing music enhanced atmosphere. Had general tso's chicken lunch special. Served with egg drop soup. Meal included pork fried rice, egg roll, crispy wonton and deep fried chicken bite! Lots of yummy food. Main dish was sauced well and green peppers were still crispy. I dislike mushy vegetables. Healthy pour of white Zinfandel went well with the food. Service was attentive but not at all intrusive. Drive up window was very busy during our time there. A couple of fortune cookies ended the meal.

I ordered online I was very disappointed. My husband picked up the food and and when he came home, only 15 min. away, the food was cold and undercooked. We had to micro it, and the crispy Hone sue chicken got mushy. The fried rice was also cold. Then I noticed an extra charge was written and added on the bill for white rice, which, according to the menu, is to be included with Hong sue chicken. I called and asked why I was overcharged $1.50. They hung up on me 4 times. This was terrible food and service.

I've been going to this restaurant for over 10 years and it's by far one of my favorites. The food is fresh. The staff is friendly and the food taste amazing.

Szechuan green beans. Spicy salt and pepper pork. Steamed bbq buns. So good. Be sure to check out the authentic Chinese menu and not just the Americanized dishes--you won't be disappointed!

Had a friend visiting from out of town so we had a big group. This is the perfect place for that! More ppl means more foods to try! Ordered a lot of our favorites and a few select dishes people wanted to try. Everyone had happy bellies! Definitely recommend and order off the Chinese menu.

Very friendly with the start of us walking in the door. Food was hot and fresh and not long on the wait. The shumai will always be my favorite to eat and of course it was delicious. Would come back again

Hot and Sour Soup

First time visit, food was very fresh and came out quick. The lunch special included a cup of soup, either egg drop or hot and sour. A small crab rangoon, egg roll and little fried chicken chunk. Pork fried rice and your entree choice. I ordered the Broccoli Chicken. All in all the food had good flavor, the quality of vegetables was great. The service felt rushed, the server forgot to bring me my drink, and didn't realize it until I finished my meal. He did bring me a water as soon as I was seated so it worked out. He didn't stop at all to see if I needed anything throughout my meal which I thought was odd. Once he realized he forgot my drink he still gave me a can of soda on the house to take with me. This would have been 5 star across the board if not for the little service hiccup. Definitely recommend and will return.

My family and I have been going to Fortune for the last 20+ years. It is a family owned restaurant that have been expanding. They have a second location but this location (across from Krispy Kreme and Chuck E Cheese) is the best one. In terms of service, I would give this place a solid 3/5. The only reason I say that is because when they are busy or if you have a really large party, the service is extremely slow. To avoid getting slow service, go on a weekday around 4:30pm or an earlier dinner/ lunch on a weekend. The unique thing about this restaurant is that they have three different types of menu. One menu is more individualized entrees while the other menu is for family style. The third is a newer dim sum menu. Since most asian families tend to eat family style and share multiple large dishes, they have both to cater to everyone's dining style. My family usually gets a few large dishes to share. The food here is a 10/10. It is seasoned very well and their fried foods are not too oily. The dishes that my family usually get are: 1) Chicken Corn Soup - Diced chicken mixed in with corn and eggs; reminds me of an egg drop soup with chicken in it. Ask for the wonton chips to add into the soup! 2) Duck and Mushroom Soup - Diced duck, clear noodles with enoki mushroom. It is perfect for cold weather. 3) Shrimp, Squid and Fish Combination - All of it is fried and it's so good with rice and soy sauce. If you don't like the smelt fish, you can ask for the fish filet and they'll sub it without any additional cost. 4) Pea Pod Leaf - this is seasoned with fresh garlic and it is just so good. 5) Eggplant and Salted Fish Casserole - Okay, HEAR ME OUT!!! This dish is extremely good. However, it does have an acquired taste. If you don't mind a fishy taste, then it is the dish for you. If you're an adventurous eater, then try it. You may actually be obsessed with it. 6) Beef Tenderloin - The beef tenderloin is sooo delicious. It is flavorful and saucy.

Plenty of space for parking in the back. Dark, smoky atmosphere with Asian interior designs. Perfect ambiance for BBQ! We had both Korean BBQ & hot pot, absolutely worth the price for both. The BBQ was by far everyone's favorite. We recommend the beef bulgogi, beef short ribs, and pork belly--these were the best for BBQ. Since it was all you can eat, we had a few servings of them. There was also a counter for different types of sauce one could get and a dessert section. The hot pot was great as well. We recommend the bone broth and the fish/shrimp/meatballs with it as well as udon noodles. The service was great overall. Our server was busy, but she managed to be attentive with us. We left with our belly full. We will absolutely come back.

We ordered the bulgogi, steak cubes, pork belly, spicy pork belly, beef tongue, rib meat, shrimp, creamy corn, fried buns, and a few other smaller items. The meat was all good quality! Our tables' favorite meat was the bulgogi for sure. We also loved the creamy corn and fried buns. However, beef tongue was so tough though I couldn't even bite into it (but honestly wasn't expecting to enjoy it!). The sauce bar was a fun touch to get exactly what we each liked. It was a little tricky being in a booth and getting people out to make their sauce combos though but we made it work. There is also a dessert bar but nothing was super intriguing to us and we were pretty full from the meal. The only downside was the service. Other servers seemed awesome but our waitress was totally aloof. She missed multiple orders of ours and we had to reorder those, and she acted super confused each time we had to tell her. She didn't give any direction on the process, and each time we wanted to add to the order we had to wave her down. I don't think she proactively checked on us once. A table nearby had the hotpot and that looked really good. We were intrigued and want to come back and try it. All in all, a great experience, and $31 per person for the amount of food you can rack up felt like a really good deal.

I'm Korean and love me some Korean fried chicken wings, but going here means I do not have to make them, make a mess in my kitchen, or have to spend time prepping everything beforehand. Yes, I know these are Karaage but they are very similar. I usually get the boneless wings just because I am weird and do not like having sticky fingers when I am eating, so these I can eat with a fork. The crispiness is always spot-on and I love that they give you just enough sauce to give everything a good coat and flavor but not too much that the chicken is drowning. I also really love the rice cakes that they add into the tenders and wings, it's like a nice little chewy treat to go with everything. Their fries are a LOT of fries! My wife and I have learned we can share one order of them. They have a bunch of varieties of seasonings you can add to the fries but I tend to get mine plain and just eat it with ketchup. I love coming here and their little outdoor patio is great when I want to bring my pup or just enjoy the nice fresh air as we eat our meal.

He also walked us to a table, made sure the table was stable, and held it for us as my mom sat down. He was very helpful, patient, and kind. He also walked us to the restroom and held the door. Our waitress, Becky, was also very nice and provided great service. We ordered the veggie gyoza appetizer, the veggie delight entree, Sumo pork buns, a Spider roll, and for dessert we shared the chocolate and green tea mochi. Multiple people greeted us and then thanked us on the way out. All of their sushi options sounded delicious. I got the Very Crunchy. It was served with a fun presentation over dried ice. The sushi itself tasted amazing, even though sushi isn't my favorite. I got the Pad Thai for an entree and I honestly think it's some of the best Pad Thai I've had in a while in Milwaukee. The sauce to noodle ratio was spot on and the flavor was perfect with the right amount of spice. Portions were great as well. Overall, definitely make sure to stop by!

We came after visiting one of the nearby breweries. We were seated right away at the bar. I had a glass of the Black River sake and my boyfriend tried the Blossom of Peace. They had a special for Bluefin Tuna. We shared the Nigiri trio by cutting each piece in half. My favorites were the two fattier cuts ( otoro, and chutoro ) I remember at this point we wished we had ordered another appetizer since the restaurant was busy and our main sushi rolls took a bit of time to arrive. We decided next time we would at least get the edamame in between plates. The rolls we ordered were the Ponzu Jello and Riverwest. The Riverwest description listed a smoky miso mayo which I did not notice a different from regular flavored mayo on a roll. The Ponzu Jello was unique and worth trying! The rolls were fat and very filling so we did not need to order more than two! I think we both agreed that the Riverwest roll was our favorite of the two. After that we noticed there was a special for some premium sake, so we ordered the G Joy. Very delicious, easy to drink and a perfect size to share.
