The facility is clean and modern. The classrooms are large and well laid out, with tables than can be moved around easily, and seats that are very comfortable. As a trainer, the AV set up is simple and mobile - which is unfortunately somewhat rare for training facilities. The staff also makes reserving space very easy. As a student, the staff were great to work with and very accommodating when I had something come up and needed to make up a class. The teachers are very experienced in their field, and share insightful stories during class. They used to have an in-house cafe for lunch, but they've turned it into a large lunch space with several vending machines. Hondros also offers a nursing program, and although I haven't been in that program, there are always lots of nursing students studying in the hallways and a learning lab that they have. It looks like a great community of students. I also saw that one of the classrooms is set up like a hospital room with 4 beds for simulations. Pretty cool! If you are considering taking a course or completing one of Hondros' career programs, I highly recommend them!

I'm an honor student and a member of Sigma Theta Tau. I will tell you that people aren't kidding when they say nursing school is hard. I've taken courses at Columbus State and Ohio State (like anatomy, organic chemistry, statistics, etc.). Nursing school is much more difficult. With that being said, the professors at Chamberlain are going to do everything in their power to help you understand the content. There are also many services students can utilize. Our campus has one of the (if not THE) most comprehensive Sim labs in the state. Chamberlain also has a great reputation in Columbus and continues relationships with hospitals like Riverside, Grant, OSU, Nationwide Children's, etc. I have had a vast array of clinical experiences. I have scrubbed into bone surgeries and cesarean sections, watched an angiography, helped deliver a baby, assisted in would care, and much more. We have had the opportunity to work in nursing homes, homeless shelters, rehabilitation centers, psychiatric and behavioral health centers, public health, schools, camps, and in hospitals. Also many schools do not offer a critical care course. At Chamberlain it is a part of the curriculum and clinical experience. Some clinicals can be a fair distance. I have not had to commute more than 20 minutes (with the exception of camp weekend), but some of my classmates have had a session or two with an hour commute each week. It happens. It's nursing school, they teach you to deal with chaos. Things I do not love about Chamberlain: The grading scale: 94%+ is an A (4.0) 92-93% is an A- (3.75) 89-91% is a B+ (3.5) and so on.... It's difficult to keep a high GPA. ATIs and HESIs (but again it's nursing school) And the expense. Chamberlain is not cheap. Apply for scholarships. I've received $14,000 in scholarships. Chamberlain cares about whether you pass the NCLEX the first time. They will invest time and effort into that goal. If you are up for a rewarding challenge, check into Chamberlain. Despite being a straight A's and B's student, the teachers at AIAM would fail me and my classmates as they pleased, without being held accountable. This teacher's actions were not only unethical, but also had a negative impact on the students' education and mental well-being. It is concerning that someone who was not cleared by their doctor to teach was still allowed to do so, putting her students at risk. The failure of the entire class is a clear indication of her incompetence as an educator. The Director of Nursing does not know how to do her job, and the school shows no concern for the success of their students. In my class, we were split into two groups and our teacher had to go back and forth between the two classes, resulting in inadequate teaching and a high failure rate. Despite this, the school would still place the blame on the students for not understanding the material when they never properly taught us. It seems like they are always looking for any reason to fail their students. This school lacks professionalism and effective communication from teachers. There is no clear curriculum and changes are made without informing or teaching the students the new methods. Students are not given the support and guidance they need to succeed. This may be due to discrimination against students of color. Additionally, when students try to address their frustration and disappointment, they are treated poorly or punished.It is not worth sacrificing your mental health, money, and time at this school. It is better to go anywhere else.

The only thing that really needed changed was the way the curriculum was set up - instead of passing out a syllabus that told you what would be happening on which day, the instructors sort of just told you the day before what you should have read for tomorrow. That was kind of annoying, especially most people in the evening class are also working full-time during the day. It also created some confusion when one instructor told us one chapter to prepare for the next day but then the next day, the other instructor said we were supposed to go over & be tested on a different chapter. Other than that, I had a great experience and feel well-prepared.

My child completed their preschool experience with strong pre-academic and spiritual foundations. The administrative staff, preschool teachers, specials teachers (e.g., Spanish, P.E. instructors), and aftercare teachers are top notch. My child attended full day preschool as a 3-year-old and again as a 4-year-old. We were so impressed that we had no qualms about continuing enrollment in kindergarten at Central College Christion School. The preschool team is kind, courteous, and conscientious. The director and program coordinator have an open-door policy and welcome parent collaboration. There are many parent volunteer activities, as well as school-sponsored events during evening and weekend hours to give working parents an opportunity to be a part of the preschool community. At Central College Preschool, diversity is celebrated, and it was reassuring to see students and staff from diverse backgrounds represented. Central College Preschool (and the elementary school) is a gem! It is so much more than a school; it's a family.
