We are pretty low…read moremaintenance folks so we weren't looking for anything fancy - we were looking to "camp" minus the sweating our butts off and we got just that. Our Cabin was just what we needed. We brought our own bedding, we brought groceries to cook-out and we had a microwave to nuke some frozen breakfast waffles for the kids and a little mini-fridge. The ONLY thing that really would have been awesome would have been a little shelf in the cabin (even just a cheap plastic one with 3 or 4 shelves) for all of the bags we brought. We stayed 4 nights and it was myself, my husband and our 2 children under the age of 4. We had 3 bags of clothes alone not to mention all the needs of young kids. There was a playground and my kids made a friend the first night so we sat around and drank a few beers with the other couple and got to meet some people and converse while the kids played. You don't get that very often at a hotel - which I loved! Past campers had even left charcoal and wood up at the covered picnic table area so we didn't end up having to buy any which was sweet. There was a game room but with our kids being younger, we didn't spend any time there but it had some teenaged and pre-teen kids hanging out playing ping-pong and having a good time so, that was cool! We are platinum pass holders at Worlds of Fun in KC so, all in all, with the money we saved on the camping vs. hotels and not having to pay the 3 days we went to Cedar Point and grilling out and eating breakfast at the cabin it made for a super affordable family vacation. It was about a 20-25 minute drive to Cedar Point but it was nice to see a little bit of the rural outskirts of Sandusky on the way and was close to Marble Head Lighthouse as well so we checked that out as well.

Since my last review in 2021, I have frequented this shop a TON and this year I basically have gone every week. I have gotten very into the metaphysical, so I initially began shopping here more frequently because of their incredible and diverse crystal selection. I particularly love their mystery bags that the employees intentionally and thoughtfully curate! They are great to buy for yourself or your loved ones and it's a unique and thoughtful kind of gift that those who are interested in crystals, incense, candles, and holistic goodies will really appreciate! I've also done two different tarot readings, one was a 15 minute walk in that I was able to pop in and do in the same day, and the other one was a thoughtful gift my friend had gotten me. Both readings were so lovely and spot on as well! As of this year, I've begun to take their CLASSES! They offer a ton of incredible classes, taught by their incredible employees who are subject matter experts in their fields! I've taken Tarot 1 (January 2025), Tarot 2 (February 2025), and Lenormand (April 2025) classes with Janis and The Magic of Astrology (March 2025) with Jorie! All have been incredible and hence why I keep coming back!
