The trail serves as the Northern trailhead for the river trail system and is absolutely gorgeous. The walk is mostly shaded by trees and features great scenery of the water. Despite the gorgeous scenery this trail offers it has limited visibility due to the curves and foliage that is present. At some points during it you may not be able to see who is around the corner or behind you on the trail, if that is important to you, you may want to check out the trail with a trail buddy rather than going alone. Overall, this is a lovely spot if you're looking for a paved trail that offers some scenic views. This park also offers fishing spots and you can bike, run or walk the trail making it a great option for a variety of activities.
