The restaurant is quite large and is a gathering place for food and drink, serving traditional German dishes (served family style) and local wine and beer. Schloss Weinhaus serves local beer and wine, and the welcoming servers keep everything coming, from starters, main course and desert. They don't slack on the beverages either. The crowning glory is the live music with standard German and American songs (some Elvis, Roll out the Barrel, et). It's a rollicking good time.

Finally, the bill came and wasn't added up correctly, and €2 had been added (in very small writing) for Parmesan cheese. The waitress told me that was normal in Germany. The real star of the meal was the Beef Goulash & Spaetzle. Wow, it was delicious! I asked for a recommendation on the Riesling and I loved our waiter's answer... "All of them!" And it was true, all that we tried were absolutely stunning! Our waiter's name was Marian and he spoke really good English, which made us feel very welcomed and it was very helpful. He was overall a great waiter! I highly recommend you give this wonderful spot a try, and I recommend sitting outside on their patio, as the view of the vineyard near by is gorgeous!
