'Sea' the best of the Balearic Islands with Charteralia!…read more I've been fortunate enough to have sailed with Charteralia every summer for the last 4 years! With the same excitement that club seeking tourists rush to Ibiza and run to the parties, I rush to the marina to board one of their boats knowing that any captain I get (I've sailed with Jose N., Jose Z., Fede, Mario & Edorta) will surely give me an experience that will keep me smiling all year! All of their boats are in tip-top shape, but I have to admit I've developed a special connection with Mr. Binguel & Mr. Jones - there's something about those two that has captured my affection. All of their captains are extremely friendly, knowledgable, entertaining and know how to provide A+ service! They know the islands like the back of their hands and will always take you to the best beaches and find the perfect spots to drop anchor. There's no better feeling in the world than the one you get while relaxing on your private floating paradise over turquoise water while listening to the wind and knowing you're the perfect distance away from the on shore beach chaos & crowds. Charteralia also offers speed boat service to Formentera, another sliver of paradise, which I've used for a day trip. Regardless what boat (cat, sail, speed...), itinerary (day trip, week charter, sunset cruise...there's something for everyone!) or island you decide to explore, Charteralia will surely give you the experience of a lifetime! I'm already counting down the days to my next trip (223 to be exact...sigh) - I've not only found my perfect summer destination, but also friends & fun guides I plan to keep forever! In my opinion, Charteralia should go down in the books as the 8th wonder of the world and I'm sure I'm not the only lucky passenger who feels that way! :)

This was my second trip to Ibiza and since I was unable to experience a boat tour the first time, I…read moremade sure we did this time. Pros: -Their customer service : I contacted Jose via email to inquire and although the website had all the information I needed, he kindly answered everything (25+ emails). -Their Catamaran: I originally opted for the sail boat since it was only for a group of 4 adults but I wanted to surprise my friends and wife with an upgrade, so I decided to reserve the catamaran. Although the catamaran costs more, it is WORTH IT! It was nothing but smooth sailing. -Trust- Have faith because the entire process leading up to the trip is all about having PLENTY of it. It was pouring so we had to wait and see if the rain was going to let up. While waiting, Jose bought us a couple rounds of drinks and some food to hold us up. While waiting, he did not pressure us about staying and told us that he would refund the money if we wanted to leave, not just the partial amount, but the entire amount! We're so happy we waited out the rain because the catamaran ride was the best part of our trip. It was the most relaxing, fun time we had on our vacation. We even saw dolphins out in the bay! Supposedly that's lucky and not the norm. The sunset was the most beautiful thing we've seen. Not only that, he discounted part of the excursion because we did lose some time and offered to keep us out there longer because we had faith. They were professional, friendly, nice, and attentive to our needs. While out on the waters, one of my friends got stung by a jellyfish. Jose took care of it right away and treated it for her. All in all, it was an amazing experience and we will be back next time. Thank you so much for an amazing experience! My wife did not want to leave the catamaran.

I have never written a review of any form on a website before however I wanted to inform people…read morethat they should not choose to go on the glass bottom boat trip with Mundo Marino, Denia. I am a PE teacher and have led many water sports trips. I am experienced sailor and do not usually suffer from any form of sea sickness. On Tuesday 29th July my father and I went on the glass bottom boat trip at 4.30pm in Denia. My father had booked it so that we could have a fun day out together which we rarely get to do these days. We arrived at about 4.15 and were told that there was a possibility that we wouldn't be able to go out because of the rough sea. However at 4.30 we were told that the sea was fine to go out on. Within about 10 minutes of being out on the sea it was apparent for all to see that the decision to go out was the wrong one. The sea was so rough that the boat was being buffeted all over the place. The water sprayed over the sides of the boat soaking some of the customers. There were times when I thought that there was a possibility that we could capsize. It was at this point that members of the customers began feeling sick. The majority of the group required sick bags including my dad who has never felt sea sick before. As stated earlier I have never felt sea sick but I certainly did on this occasion. The old lady next to me and a young girl were sick. Despite knowing this the two young man no effort was made to go back to port. Knowing that we would not be able to make it to the secluded bay and knowing that we would not be to snorkel because of the rough sea we stayed in the same spot for at least half an hour. The small hatch on the floor was opened. The glass measured approximately 100cm x 30cm. I believe it to be false advertising to call it a glass bottom boat and only have such a small piece of glass at the bottom of the boat. Needless to say no fish were seen because of the state of the sea. It was only when my father requested that we go back to port that we eventually did. However knowing that we were going to get back early the captain decided to fill time and let the young children to steer the boat. Although this was a nice thing to do it was not appropriate as it was very apparent that a lot of the people on the boat were feeling very sick as they had sick bags held to their mouths. To make matters worse the captain then took the group on a tour of the harbour and even stopped outside the company's office and called his colleague out of the office and asked him to take a picture of us on the boat. When we docked 6 of the groups of 18 went to the ticket office and asked for a refund. The young lady working at the ticket office refused to give us a refund. She did offer us another of the trips offered by the company however we were leaving Spain the next morning. After the experience that we had just had just endured I'm sure that you will understand that we never wanted to use the company again. She pointed us to the terms and conditions that stated that they can't control matters that are out of their control such as the weather. However I stated very clearly that they were in charge of the decision as to whether we went out on the sea in the first place. I stated to them that it was extremely obvious that it was the wrong decision. It was very clear right from the outset that the sea was too rough and that we would never had been able to go snorkelling or see any fish. The weather did not change between when the captain first went out to assess the water and when the group went out to sea. The young lady did not agree with me much to my amazement. To charge me and my dad 45 Euros for a totally unpleasurable experience where we both felt incredibly sick and at times unsafe, where we did not see any fish and did not snorkel was unacceptable. I believe that the decision to go out was based on the need to make profit and not on the safety, well-being and enjoyment of the customers. They knew that they would have to reimburse the customers if we did not go out, so therefore in order to make a profit they made a decision that was to the detriment of the customers. It is my belief that the inexperience and unprofessionalism of the two young men in charge of the boat led to a completely unsatisfactory experience for the customers. The fact that we were not given a refund added insult to injury.

One of my favorite things from my entire Spain/Portugal trip…read more Price: 75€ While there are other companies that offer a similar excursion for less money, I decided to spend a little more to be on a boat with a max of 35-40 people vs 100+ people. What is included: Snorkels + goggles to use 2 paddleboards Delicious lunch + dessert Unlimited ice water Amenities on board: - 2 bathrooms that are very clean and fully stocked - Full bar with drinks available for purchase What to bring: Towel Sunscreen Our crew was incredible - so kind and professional. I listed a peanut allergy on my sign up form and the crew made sure to check in with me during lunchtime and tell me what I could/couldn't eat. The only thing with potential cross contamination was the bread so they provided me some crackers as an alternative. They seriously handled the situation so incredibly, and I cannot thank them enough. My 2 complaints: - As someone who appreciates specific directions the process of arriving to the port/finding the boat was quite stressful. They simply tell you the name of the marina and that's all. How to find the boat: you must go through the gate at the marina and onto the docks. - I wish we had more than 1 swim stop. We spent a lot of time driving to/from the anchorage and I wish they had selected a closer spot so we could spend more time swimming. Overall cannot recommend Oasis enough!
