I was desperately trying to find a company who would come with an electric wheelchair to get me up and down my stairs. Health Companion was the only company I could find who was able to assist me. I spoke with VAL who was very kind and understanding and I made an appointment with him to come in my home and take me down my outdoor stairs so I could go to my doctors appointment. He was on time, professional and he told me not to be scared. This electric wheelchair he has that has rubber tracks that took me down seven flights in about 10 seconds with no bumps. After my doctors appointment, I called him back up and VAL came back to my house and brought me back up the stairs with no issues. VAL has really helped my recovery because I'm not stressing about how I'm going to get in and out of my home. Do yourself a favor and give this company a call. They can help you with all your needs. Health Companion Will ALWAYS be my go to when I need help. Service with a smile!

They were 45 minutes late picking us up which meant we missed 20% of our event. The drivers have no way of communicating each other (there were five of us, one Wheelchair user per Van) My van was flashing overdue service, and low fluid lights. My driver did not have a cell phone, barely spoke English, wouldn't follow my directions and so coming back took 20 minutes longer than it should have. Because they were rushed because we were late. They didn't tie down my wheelchair properly and they bounced all the way. Because my driver didn't speak English he didn't understand me when I asked him to stop to fix it or he didn't care I'm not sure which. I'm stuck with these guys going back to the airport because my group is already paid for it,

It isn't easy to manage my Father and they did it with skill and grace. Tonight my Father was taken to the ER and was being discharged late evening. Being in NY and managing my Dad's care from a distance I was in a bit of a panic. My father is disabled and would need a lot of help to transfer from the wheelchair to his bed. I reached out to Emmanuel and he left right away for the hospital. Once he got my Dad home, he even got him into bed. I really don't know what I would have done without him. Emmanuel is a rare find. If you're looking for someone to transport someone you love who will treat them like family this is the place you want to call. I have used other transport companies in the past for my Mom and there is just no comparison. If we had more people like Emmanuel the world would be a better place.

Was quoted $49.Tried to schedule appointment on 9/21 spoke to Cy. Angie no longer there. Explained I had a knee scooter and was told by Cy that I needed a wheel chair van. I guess Cy doesn't know what a knee scooter is or is just trying to take advantage? Also, difficult to understand. Sorry they lost a potentially good customer as I will be needing transportation twice weekly for awhile.

I was fine with cost as peace of mind and safe transportation was what I needed. I called them the day before the scheduled ride and everything was confirmed. I spoke with Mary. These people are shameless and should not be taking advantage of sick and elderly people...to make matters worse. After being told I would get a full refund I have now had to institute a complaint with my credit card company. They only refunded the $60 wheelchair fee!
