Handled the suboptimal conditions (mud everywhere, glaring sun, high winds that knocked things down) at the venue with ease and grace. Didn't even know they were there unless they were talking directly to us (stealthy!). Captured so many gorgeous photos and fun candids. They took our preferences into account- we got the types of photos that were important to us (and more!) and they were in the style we hoped for- natural, did not look heavily edited (and if they were you'd never know it!). Video clips and 1 min video montage were WONDERFUL. Many guests have commented how nicely they captured the essence of our day. Having both of them there was perfect - not only were they able to catch both sides of the wedding party getting ready in separate locations, but also the different angles of the same moments. Lisa was fantastic throughout--very prompt to return e-mails, very accommodating. Her work was great--she got some really interesting shots of us, but also let us just be ourselves and do our thing (instead of having us do weird poses). She has great packages and did ours for the whole day--which is nice since a lot of photographers mess around with hourly rates. When she was there, she was a fly on the wall when we needed her to be (i.e., during the ceremony and the reception) and proactive when it was most important, such as helping guide my wife through the details (i.e., how to cut the cake) and get people organized for group photos. Kristie was the one who came to record the video and she did a great job. We forgot to let her know that when the ceremony started that we were going to turn off half the lights in the room (sorry!). But between her quickly changing some settings and Allen's video editing, the video still looks great.
