Although Dr. Raj is a nice guy and loves animals, he mis-diagnosed my adopted dog.
He told the previous owners that she had glaucoma and when we finally got her, he told us that her eyes were red due to it being dry. He told us to just buy eye drops at any local grocery or Shoppers for dry eyes, and said any were fine - did not say the ones for humans were not at all recommended.
Months later, her eyes were getting much worse, and she started barking in the middle of the night while shaking to let us know she was in pain. We took her to the 24 hour pet hospital at Birchmount and Ellesmere instead where they told us she in fact did not have glaucoma - it's actually uveitis and she was barking in the middle of the night bc she was having a MIGRAINE! The vet there also said that whoever told us she had glaucoma should have done a proper test to make sure she actually had glaucoma, which was not done.
It's really unfortunate that we trusted someone who we thought knew what they were doing, all the while our poor dog was suffering and we had no idea. I wish we had found out sooner so we could have bought the proper medication, and ointment and therefore wouldn't be in so much pain now, which feels like it's too late. It hurts my entire family and breaks my heart to write this review, having to relive these awful moments. read more
