The problem is we got caught on Harlem Avenue with a train and then we could not find parking. We arrived at the office at 11:03. When I got there, they told me they had called me that she was overbooked. I looked at my phone and I wanted to show her. I had no missed calls at all so I don't know what number she called ? The receptionist said that she was going to try to squeeze me in, but the doctor would not see my mom. Since she was 91 1/2 years old you think she would've made an exception. But no, I even told the receptionist sometimes when we have to wait a half an hour for a doctor that's OK but when we get there in time for the appointment not earlier, they will not see her. I understand they wanted us there a half an hour earlier, but things will happen just like when they were late with their appointments. I will never come back to this location again very dissatisfied. They should not overbook, obviously they were overbooked. That's why they tried to call me in the first place very very disappointed.

She recently started to offer Shockwave Therapy and so we gave it a shot and also added custom orthotics. I am so happy to say that it worked!! My nail healed so fast and my toe nail looks great. This year I took my son to see her because he had an issue with a small growth on his toe. She took care of it and offered some advice. I appreciate Dr. Chon because she is caring and super knowledgeable. I feel that I can trust her opinion. Her office is in the Oak Park Arms building at Oak park and Washington. Had two nail surgeries with Dr. Riya Vyas at Fox Valley Foot & Ankle, it was only a fun game until…read moreproblem happened. surgeries were unsuccessful (you can look at my pictures) and that's not the worst part. Worse part is that during the surgery for my left toe Dr. Riya Vyas only performed the surgery on one side and forgot to do it on the other side, and forgot to prescribe antibiotics after surgeries, that caused me infections, fever and pain that I had to go to urgent care by myself. When I reach out to her and told her about everything, she never even said a word of sorrow, and she push all the blame on me - claiming I required to only do 50% of the surgery during the process. I never required such thing and why would I? Just use common sense, it's not that deep. So far I never received any apologies, no sympathy, her clinic was basically just protecting her and never showed me any sorrow. Walk into this clinic with your own risk, it's only "nice and friendly" when things goes well. You better hope you never get into any medical malpractice, otherwise they will just tell you "you asked for it" with cold tone.

Dr Finn performed my bunionectomy in 2010. The incision was on side of the big toe joint and…read moreinvolved the removal & realignment of soft tissue and bone. His procedure was in my opinion perfect. I experienced no extreme pain afterwards but was in the boot for some weeks following. It relieved all pain and restored normal alignment to the joint. He also used a small pin to hold the bones in place. My foot healed pretty fast with no issues and the scar is now barely noticeable. Mind you l am 43 and wore very high heels everyday for long periods before the surgery. After surgery l wore flats for a year (no more than 3 in heel) then gradually progressed to higher. I'm back in very high heels but don't wear daily and if l do, l make sure there is a platform for proper balance. I would go back to him if l had to.
