Was quoted two hour delivery time at 855 which is absurd but i was starving and there are very few delivery options in this area. Called at 1106 and was told driver would be here shortly. Its now 1154 and food is still not here. Called and no response. FYI restaurant is 6 minutes away via car. This is unacceptable. Who cares how good the food is if you can't get it?! I am a single mom with 4 kids trying to make my dollar stretch and I had requested footprints to please make the portion of food a little more larger than usual, and not so small. In a matter of 5 minutes the ubereats manager at this restaurant named Nicola called me and said that she understands and can do just that for me, i was happy and so will my children be once they eat the food. She was so nice and courteous and her attitude matches the food she was sweet and nice. Customers I have to tell you, I will be a regular at this place. This place is disgraceful!! Worst customer service I ever received in my life!!! I ordered my food over the phone asked for extra oxtail gravy. Picked up the food of coarse there was none in the bag. I drive back to get my gravy the woman had the nastiest attitude and took her precious time pouring the gravy continuing conversation with other staff members. I visited this restaurant for the first time on January 29, 2016. Ordered my food, got it and ate. My friend wasn't finished with her food, so we talked. The waiter came over and said we needed to leave so that he could make room for other patrons that wanted to join a party that was sitting next to us. Needless to say I would never patronize this restaurant again. The waiter was rude and the food wasn't even that good. The only reason why I gave this place two stars is because their rasta pasta is pretty good, but everything else is subpar, and the customer service is horrid. Rude staff and long waits. It doesn't live up to the hype. However, I suggest going strictly for the rasta pasta, but the other food is no better than your local golden crust. Usually I go to the Footprints on Coney Island but out of convince my friend and I decided to try this location. The first issue is that the waitress that was supposed to have put my name on the wait list...did not. When I asked another waitress about it is when I found this out. First I was told I would have a 20 min wait then I was told 30 or more. I mean which is it??? This spot is honestly just a tacky pick up joint with loud ass music. Its like they aren't sure if they want it to be a club or a restaurant. After over 30 minutes of waiting we were finally about to be seated or so I thought. The table we were supposed to get ended up being given to another couple right in front of our face..it's like we were playing musical chairs. The last strike was when I confronted the hostess about her behavior and she told me that I NEEDED TO FIX MY ATTITUDE. I was honestly in shock because as a customer we all know that we deserve a certain curtesy for choosing to spend our money at any establishment. I mean it's not my fault that this is your job so act accordingly. The waiter actually mixed up our bill with another table that had been there long before we could even accumulate a bill....that I certainly didn't understand. The food ended up being great especially the drinks but after it was all said and done I ended up speaking to a manager about lack of service and incompetence. i usually love the food and the service is ok, but i ordered food for delivery and it took 3 hours until i called myself and inquired about my order and everyone seemed clueless. usually the wait is about an hour to an hour and a half. i asked about the wait time before i ended the telephone conversation and was told about 1 hour to 1hour and a half or maybe less. after my 3 hour wait i called to cancel my order and no one seemed concerned. im really disappointed. someone could have called to tell me the wait would be extended or that i would be waiting a little bit longer for my food. read more

But all of the reviews I read complained about customer service and of course I'm giving it a three star because the customer service is in fact terrible. I need think they need to find a new general manager in order to improve the customer service so that the service can meet the standard of the food so that this delicious idea can get a five star rating. Because in all honesty the food is delicious. This place used to be good just last year. The customer service is lacking. I took my grandmother there as a wedding present for her and her hubby. Our waitress forgot we existed the minute we ordered our drinks and food. I saw her 2 times after that and she was just watching us from a distance. I had to get a cook from the kitchen to get us some more drinks. The food came out and it was just horrible the flavor was lacking, I was shocked because I used to love coming here for their food but not anymore. I wish I could rate the food and service separately because the service is what's bring my rating down to a 3. Restaurant always crowded at night which is annoying because everyone is on top of each other, listening to each others conversation so there's no personal space as other restaurants would have. Some of the waitresses are unprofessional, the last time I went there she passed my food over another couples dinner table for them to pass it to me but of course they would not see that as a problem because most Caribbean restaurants don't really care about providing good customer service. Heard many good things about this place and decided to give it a try. The food was simply amazing. I went after work on a Friday and thankfully is wasn't packed...yet. As I finished up the crowd started rolling in. Now I know why!! Would definitely make routing trips. It's a must eat place. The Rasta pasta is great, but the service is HORRIBLE, THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I'VE EVER EXPERIENCED. There servers needs classes on etiquette and customer service training badly. Very rude, no smile, not pleasant. The place is too small for all the customers that they get for dinner and to order take out. There needs to be a better organization and structure for their take out section of the restaurant it should not take me an hour and a half to receive a take out order. I understand it's very busy in there, but as a business this is unacceptable. They don't seem to care, if you leave upset either. Word of mouth is how your business will expand, beyond caribbean people. I will say first of all that I have had better rasta pasta else where and that Footprints is not the originator of the dish. Secondly the staff are extremely unprofessional and rude. I've dealt with my fair share of rude wait staff before but this place takes the cake. I ordered rasta pasta with the chicken strips and got sick because my chicken WAS NOT COOKED that is disgusting. Love footprints. Of course their staple item is the Rasta Pasta- and for a good reason . It never disappoints . Best paired with jerk chicken (boneless or bone in) or jerk shrimp. The coconut shrimp is amazing. Jerk chicken wrap is also really good is you come here for lunch. The curry chicken/goat Roti isn't bad either, but I rather stick to the pasta is I'm gonna come here. The drinks are also very good! Definitely will hike up the bill because they're all pretty much $12+ but they are well worth it. Friday's and Saturday evenings are the most crowded, you will wait a while to be seated. The best time to come is around 6/7 pm on those days. Also love the summer when the outdoor seating is available. Nice spot with good vibes!
