I called on Sat to set up a day for my little girl to start gymnastic, the girl on the phone said to be there 15 mins early and everything will be ok. I went onto their website to fill out the class request, that was available, just to play it safe. Well we showed up 30 mins before the class started and they said it was full and didn't have anything for a week. I drove 40 mins just to be told no. My son absolutely loves going to the open gym. There are lots of activities like a huge foam pit, trampolines, slides, etc. Two hours of nonstop play topped off with bubbles at the end. As an added bonus my son sleeps like a rock afterwards every time! Winning! read more

This facility is run by greedy, unqualified owners that are so focused on their 20 "team" members that the children that are there to have fun are not given the opportunity to do so. They are more focused on obtaining bids for meets and running those meets in order to make a profit than they ever have been focused on the students. They have staff on the floor that are not certified and have absolutely no gymnastics background. They leave the staff ill prepared, and in positions where they are over the recommended ratios of students to teachers. I removed my child from their program because of these many issues and also because I felt like I wasn't getting what I paid for. They spend quite a bit of time standing around and trying to find out who their teacher is and they wash their hands (which is pretty time-consuming for a class of eight or so) in excess of three times per hour long class. I never anticipated that my child would become an Olympic gymnast under their training, but there are far better programs that are more cost effective and are focused more on the children in the classes rather than the competitive team. In addition to all of this, my child's teacher changed probably five times in the couple of months that we were there. It seems like there was quite a bit of confusion. Every time she came to class and she was very uncomfortable. Lastly, I wanted to comment on the fact that a parent also told me that there was history of one of the team coaches, having an inappropriate relationship with one of his gymnasts via texts or applications on their phone. My daughter has been taking a weekly gym class here since she was 2 or 3. She is now almost 7. Foothills gym is all about fun. The coaches are very kind. I really enjoy watching my daughter in her class. She loves it and she loves the instructors. She has learned a lot too. read more
