I attended the CCW class at GUNSLINGERS yesterday, 02/08/2020. I have been on many gun ranges as well as tactical ranges. I happened to attend this class to maintain my CCW and there was a total of fourteen participants in the class. It's important to point out that Devan was the only Rangemaster assisted by his daughter during this course of fire. There were a few experienced shooters and many inexperienced shooters on this range day. This guy (Devan owner/operator) ran this class at the pace of the slowest shooter. (Anyone with Military or Law Enforcement experience knows that you are only as fast and strong as your weakest link). Everyone in this class was very receptive to his attention to detail. He spent so much time with inexperienced shooters and explained the basic fundamentals of shooting. In my observation, he was never short, arrogant, irritated or flustered with a shooter's lacked knowledge in the gun fundamentals or basic fundamentals regarding the nomenclature of their perspective weapon. I can tell everyone that I witnessed this man walk up to every shooter and went over their prospective targets with them and gave his opinion as to how they should correct their current shooting pattern. He is very knowledgeable in the aspects and basics of shooting and handling a firearm. If you want to know how you are shooting or just a beginner, Devan is the go-to guy regarding any aspects of shooting or basic fundamentals regarding a firearm or shooting. Thank you very much, Devan, for a very well organized CCW Class. I will be back!

Well, can buy the firearm (handgun, rifle, shotgun) but you have to keep it in your home. That's great if you unfortunately have a home invasion or something heinous like that happen to you (read up on "Castle Doctrine"). But what about you going to work, church, grocery store, park, an unfamiliar city? What are you going to do to protect yourself and the ones you love? I suggest getting a Carry Concealed Weapon (CCW) license. And where do you go for training? Gallardo Firearms Training. It's a HUGE decision and one not taken lightly but this is the place to go. Want further training later on? This again, is the place. Relaxed, chill, informative (both instructors are LEO's) no performance pressure environment. You will learn the laws and hear the teachings on gun safety. It will prepare you for carrying a gun in concealment. Just give it some thought. Oh, and when the dude from United States Concealed Carry Association (USCCA) comes and gives his spiel, sign up for the insurance. I went 2 years in misery thinking what would happen if I had to take a life and got arrested and prosecuted. This is a major blessing. Again, think about it. When it's time, check their website for details

My husband and I visited this store for the first time and were surprised by how we were treated…read morebecause of the reviews. Upon arrival, we were buzzed in, which was fine. However, once inside, we were greeted by a dog before seeing any staff. Unsure of where to go, I called out for assistance. My husband has a very real fear of dogs due to a traumatic childhood experience in which he witnessed another child lose their life from a dog attack. Although the dog in the store appeared very friendly, my husband remained by the door, visibly uncomfortable, hoping the owner would call the dog back. Instead of recognizing my husband's fear, the owner became extremely hostile. He aggressively told my husband to "get the F out" and "F him," insisting the dog was a service animal. When I tried to explain and apologize, I was also cursed at and told to "get the F out" simply for trying to deescalate the situation. I was so shaken that I nearly had an anxiety attack. This is a business open to the public, and the owner should be more mindful that not everyone is comfortable around dogs. There are respectful ways to handle situations like this. A responsible business owner should be able to recognize and respond appropriately to a customer's fear, especially when it involves an animal. This experience was incredibly upsetting and, in my opinion, handled with zero professionalism or compassion. That's just my experience and perspective but I strongly advise others to approach with caution. If the owner feels offended, he may respond with unprofessional aggression.

When I looked them up, they weren't to far from me and so decided to come by the shop and check it out. My first experience was great, and Spike helped answer all the questions I had. Although I didn't buy anything the first time, I did on my second time I came in... and again, Spike was very helpful, explained all the differences, and upgrades. Offered great advice on what to get. He did not lead with the expensive guns, but instead explained pros and cons on each. Based on our conversation, picked out what I wanted, and will now be picking it up in 10 days. So if you're looking for a great shop, great prices and no pressure, this is the place for you.

Myself, I made the appointment to attend this class via online their website weeks in advance. I required a refresher course for my renewal of my CPR certification with American Red Cross The instructor Pete made the class innovative, fun and it was very informative as well. There's a lot of information to cover so definitely pay attention and you'll be heading on the right track instructor for keeping the class focused for learning CPR, AED and First aid. The price of scheduling the class was affordable. If you're looking for CPR class, whether you have family or neither for work definitely check out police science institute as they offer classes on certain days of the month for you to complete when available.

Due for a CCW renewal, we had initially got certified at a place in Kingsburg and couldn't get a hold of the guy who certified us the first time so I decided to do a web search on places that offered CCW renewals and PSI one of the places that offered it for a great price and the time we were available. They offer other classes such as CPR, Basic handgun training, Initial/ renewal/ Utah, CCW, and women's basic handgun, etc. Once you enter their website it's user friendly they provide very specific information, they have prices, class dates and times. They do not send reminders calls/text/email on the time you signed up and do have a policy on cancellation/ rescheduling/refunds. My husband and I arrived early on our scheduled class time we checked-in, went into a room filled with other initials/renewals. Curt Hamett was our instructor and was very knowledgeable, he shared entertaining stories and encouraged the class to participate as a whole when answering questions. They provided a very educational PowerPoint. After going over the safety and basics we headed over the range. They require 50 rounds, 75% to be made in the target (15 rounds at 3 yrds, 15 rounds at 5 yrds and 20 at 7 yrds). There was about 38 people on our class and I felt that everything went so smoothly and quick during the time we had at the range. After, they give you your certification of completion which is one of the required documents you need to upload to apply for your CCW. Overall my husband and I had a great experience we both really enjoyed the class and learned so many new things. Curt was an amazing instructor. There was also a simulation that we did at the end it was like a game. He gave us scenarios and depending on the situation we had to decide whether or not to use lethal force the sim was cool, something I've never seen definitely great for training. They also use USCCA and have a rep there if you want to sign up. Highly recommend this place and we will definitely be coming back here to get our renewals from now on.
