I went to this dental office for three times recently as a new patient, worst dental experience I…read morehave had. My dentist was Dr. Sheryl Lansangan. First time: for tooth filling. After the procedure I complained about the sensation from the newly filled tooth. Second time: for teeth's cleaning and Dr. Lansangan tried to figure out why I still felt sensitive about the tooth. She was confident that there was nothing wrong about the newly filled tooth, she suggested my sensitivity was from other teeth nearby. So she did two more teeth filling procedure for me, even though I did not feel any discomfort or sensation from the two teeth. Afterwards I still felt sensitive from the same location of the first filled tooth. I went to different dentist office for secondary opinion. The dentist from this office identified the sensitive spot from the first filled tooth. He said the filling procedure done previously did not cover the sensitive area fully, he suggested to redo the filling procedure. I called Highland dental about the secondary opinion from other dentist. The assistant from desk lady said you should report to us instead of going to different dentist. I responded, I did report to Dr. Lansangan, but she was not able to identify and resolve the problem. Then the assistant agreed to make an appointment with me with no additional charges. Third time: this time the dentist was Dr. Tran. He was not friendly, even a little angry, apparently because I went to different dentist office for consultation. He reluctantly admitted the problem, but eventually he agreed that the filling material from the first filled tooth was falling out, he redid the filling procedure. They are care about their own reputation more than care about their patients. On the other hand they are not very skilled dentist.

The dentist made me feel completely at ease, did a very thorough check, and reassured me that everything looked okay. I did need a deeper cleaning, and he explained that I had a little more bleeding than normal, which is common during and slightly after pregnancy. I really appreciated how informative, patient, and understanding everyone was throughout the visit. Overall, 5/5 service. I will definitely continue coming here and recommending Hayward Dental Arts to all of my coworkers and friends!

The receptionist told me she would let me know if there was a sooner opening, and usually I feel like they just say that and never get back to you. But! My wife told me Dr. Sood was so good. She did such an excellent job. My wife hardly had any pain afterwards. The times I have gone in for various treatments, Dr.Sood has treated me as if I was a close relative or friend. She is very sensitive to my needs and requests. I have been to many dentists in the past. But as long as she works there, she will be my dentist of choice.

They told my wife that she had too much blood coming out that they needed to do some kind of laser service, what the fuck did they expect my wife to say while being service ? My wife thought it was included in the service so she couldnt think twice, but after the service was done, she was brought a bill of over $300 to get her teeth cleaned. They even said insurance only pays for cleaning service once a year, but they fooled my wife into coming to their office for a second one, for which, she had to pay out of pocket. This isnt the first time they " forced " my wife into paying for services she didnt really need. What a piece of crap. As this office was taking all of Dr Wicks calls and I was over a year without a cleaning I booked an appointment last week for today-as there'd apparently been a cancellation. I did a Yelp check this morning and found that there were very few reviews but they were all good, so I went. What a pleasant surprise than the staff was totally courteous, caring and efficient! I was given the cost of the initial visit and despite my inability to have a full set of X-rays after I'd already paid I was given an option of a panoramic view at no Extra cost! It was totally successful. My first visit was totally successful and affordable.
