Nice, modern haven in an otherwise quite part of the world. As well as serving food and drinks in the evening you can buy your cold cuts, wine and dried goods, although not a wide selection.
I've been twice for aperitivo on a Thursday night. Worth booking a table in advance and worth making a trip for.
A plate of food and a drink (wine or spritz) is 5 euro. I'm not sure if this counts a good deal locally but to my normal English budget this is a bargin. Food and drink on both occasions has been delicious!
They would be getting five stars but on our last visit we were a large group, they wouldn't itemise the bill (some people ate and drank a lot more than others) and wanted to over-charge us just to make the sums easier.
In fact, both times the staff and service have left a little to be desired. Be prepared to sit, relax and wait for your food and drinks. Not so bad, but not great to wait 20 min for a drink when you're thirsty! read more
