I graduated almost 4 years ago from ITM. I had been looking into Massage Schools for many years,…read morenever signed up because timing wasn't right...or I just didn't "feel" that the school was right for me at the time. After meeting with some of the staff, I knew that this school with going to give me the knowledge, and skill-set that was needed to succeed in this field. The instructors that I had for my courses of study are second to none. The really have passion for what they do and it shows in the way they take you under their wing and guide you every step of the way. I highly recommend them whether it be a career choice or continuing education courses! T~

THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE BLOOMFIELD LOCATION:…read more I hurt my neck and it was getting progressively worse, was given a prescription for physical therapy but unfortunately it was going to cost me a lot of money for a month of treatment, I figured a massage was good for what ailed me and found ITM's student clinic, which was close to home and oh so affordable. I called for an appointment and heard from them next day which the website indicates that when the clinic is not in session there wouldn't be anyone manning the phones. I showed up really not knowing what to expect since it was my first massage and I was hurting like the dickens! Well, I'm hooked and made another appointment for 2 weeks, my Therapist Lakia was so sweet and soft spoken and we both humorously managed my massage, you fill out a form in the beginning with your medical history and she asked me if there was a part of my body that needed focus, I said I had hurt my neck, well she found all of my knots and spasms and worked them out, I felt IMMEDIATE RELIEF!! As I told Lakia when she asked how I was feeling I told her, if I were a cat I'd be purring!! The place invites peace and tranquility, when I first arrive the hallway leading to the place was dark, it looked closed, until I tried the door, then I realized ok, it's the atmosphere, I waited a little then was called in, the treating area was softly lit, with soft classical music playing, the bed/table was made up in cute sheets and a blanket, each bed/treatment area is surrounded by a curtain like you would find at a hospital and when closed it was very private (even more private than in the hospital I found) and before coming back in (while I disrobed) Lakia quietly asked if it was ok for her to come in. In the beginning, since it was my first massage, I was uneasy and nervous, but when I saw how professional warm and inviting Lakia was and the overall atmosphere, I was very comfortable, and when I saw the quality of the treatment, it was worth every single penny I paid, like I said, I will be back (over and over if need be until my neck is A-ok!) even mom who is recovering from spinal surgery is sold on the idea and once she is good to go, I'm so treating her to a few massages!!

Found this place through Groupon and decided to treat myself to a massage at this location. I…read morewasn't sure if I would enjoy it or not as this was my first massage ever but I figured I'd give it a try. Turns out, I really enjoyed it! I was greeted with a nice smile from the receptionist as soon as I walked in and while the place is small, it had a nice cozy and relaxing environment. Amanda was my masseuse and she listened to my needs (relief of muscle aches from frequent workouts) and she went to work. She used the right amount of pressure to help relieve some muscle tension I had in my neck and back, and the aromatherapy and oils she used helped relieve some stress. After the hour, she also gave me some tips on how to relieve the tension myself at home which I really appreciated. Glad I decided to pick this place to experience my first massage and I'll definitely be back again and look into a hot stone massage for next time.

I had just run the NYC Marathon on Sunday so was hoping to get in on Tuesday. In fairness, I called on Tuesday morning and they couldn't get us in until Thursday night, but it was worth the wait, and I'm sure they were blowing up because of Groupon. The listed price for the couple's massage in the parlor was $140, but for $40/person, it was money well spent once the hour was up. The place is a little hidden, even within the office building. It's easiest to go up to the second floor from the door on your right (there are 2 entrances). Overall, they did such a good job, I tipped them $25 each, factoring in the actual cost and not the Groupon special.

They had to shut them down because of Covid! The facility has two pools and two sets of saunas. One set is co-Ed and accessible from the main lobby. Then there's a female-only area which is accessible only through the womens locker room. Going there as a single lady, I find this amenity very nice since it creates a safe spot to just hang out for us girls. The new Himalayan salt sauna is absolutely gorgeous. And so relaxing! I've spent almost an hour in there with a friend just hanging out and chatting. The spa employees even brought us a complementary smoothie. I enjoy the massages and facials. And the prices are way cheaper than most other massages in the area. Of course it always depends on which person you get for your massage but once you get to know the different people, you can start asking for your favorite. Most massages include use of the spa and the massage chairs. Or you can pay a low price and just go for the saunas, pools and to sit in the massage chairs. They have a fireplace and blankets in the chair area so you can cozy up and just hang out if you want. This is probably not at the most high and spa in this area but it is clean, comfortable and offers very good service. For a much lower price than anybody else seems to charge. This spa has updated their amenities and their service continuously, reacting to customer feedback and making improvements. The new receptionist speaks flawless English and is incredibly helpful. I would recommend this place to anybody.
