Compassionate Care That Helped Save My Dog…read more I've been a client here for over a year, and while this journey has had its emotional ups and downs, I truly want to acknowledge the care and commitment this facility has shown my dog -- and me. Before coming here, I'd seen several different vets over the years, and unfortunately, those past experiences left me feeling jaded, frustrated, and mistrustful. I was told so many different things by various clinics -- some of which proved to be inaccurate -- and I felt like I was constantly spending money without ever getting real answers. So when I came to Animal Surgical Center of Michigan, I'll admit I brought that baggage with me. Throughout everything, Dr. Pearson and her team -- especially Sarah -- have been kind, responsive, and genuinely committed to helping my dog. We've done biopsies, bile acid testing, copper level screening, ultrasounds, and more. And while it's taken time, Dr. Pearson has figured out what others couldn't. She's been steady and thoughtful in her care, and it's clear she truly loves her patients. There was a moment recently where I left a 3-star review out of pure frustration and emotional exhaustion. But after having a heartfelt conversation with Dr. Pearson, I saw how deeply she cared -- not just about my pet, but also about her work and the people she serves. I cried that day. Not because I was upset, but because I realized I had unintentionally hurt someone who had been doing her absolute best for my dog. This isn't just a clinic. These are real people, with real hearts, doing very difficult work. And they've stuck by me through my hardest moments as a pet parent. I'm sincerely grateful, and I'm taking this opportunity to correct the impression I left before. If you're looking for a team that's not only highly skilled but also deeply compassionate, this is the place. Thank you, Dr. Pearson and the entire team, for everything you've done for us.

As painful as losing a pet is, it was so much better being at a facility that genuinely feels your pain. The passing of my sweet Daisy was as peaceful as possible and I am so thankful for that. He wouldn't give us the option of a second test to be sure even though he showed no other secondary symptoms - the only option was to put him down. We took the cat to a different vet that did a blood test and found that he had a UTI and NO diabetes. If we would have listened to Dr. Kline's advice, our cat would be dead right now for no reason whatsoever.
