Valentina was so friendly and welcoming. She helped make our celebration special. Also our server Antonio was awesome.

Antonio was very accommodating, friendly and happy to assist. Valentina is an awesome Manager and so very nice. She represents your company well. We thoroughly enjoyed the customer service and food at the Katy Texas location.

I absolutely love this place and will come back for the happy hour time or lunchtime. The ambience is beautiful.. it's very relaxing, very casual, dressy, business whatever you like. Service was a 10 out of 10. My favorite thing was probably the cabbage. Omg it was so good. Everything was good to be honest. Nice for vegetarians and also nice for people who eat meat. I deff want to come back ...

The service was awesome. I constantly had food on my plate, drink was always full. The ambiance was great for the night since it was my 7yr anniversary. The food on the other hand was subpar. The fillet minion was tasteless. The bacon wrapped chicken was dry. I had to use blue cheese to add flavor to the meats to be able to eat it. I sadly will not give this place a 2nd chance.

We went opening night. Service was stellar A+. I genuinely felt like every employee was excited we came and couldn't wait to help serve us a delightful evening! We've been to the Westheimer location a few times years ago, so excited to have one closer. Love that they have a rewards system now! If you've never been to a Brazilian steakhouse, you're in for a treat. You literally get to sit at your table and they bring dinner to you. You have choices of chicken, pork, shrimp, and tons of beef cuts. When they come to your table, they have them cooked Well, medium well, medium... if you really like something and haven't seen it in a few minutes, you can ask the server and they will get someone to come around with it. Complementary on the table they bring mashed potatoes and fried polenta and plantains. Then you get a chimichurri steak topping as well. if you're not sure what drink to pair with it, I would suggest the Caipirinha - it's a Brazilian Cachaça drink that is delightful and fresh. Definitely should order the table side experience. It was awesome. If you're not a complete carnivore, they do have a cold bar that has different salads, olives, fruits, and other cold hors d'oeuvres. They also have a little soup area that rotates the different kinds of soup that are in there. However, if you are carnivore, don't fill up at this station. Because once you flip your car to green, the meats start coming and they don't stop. This is an easy to get to location, they do take reservations, they're great for date night special occasions, or even small parties.

We decided to try out this new location for date night. The location is nice and they have free parking and complimentary valet parking. The dress code was more relaxed than I expected, so need to wear your Sunday's Best. We had the Surf & Turf dinner special. The lobster was good but small. When you order the special the selection of meats is limited. Our server was nice but it took a while for them to come by with the meat selection. Eventually the service picked up and they came around more frequently. Overall it was a good experience aside from the waiting on the meat.

My husband and I came here for our anniversary. We love Brazilian steakhouses and had high expectations because of the great experience we've had a Gauchos down the street. We made a reservation and was seated upon arriving. The atmosphere is light, great decor, plushy velvet couches for one side of the booths, I loved the light fixtures, the overall vibe seemed like trendy fine dining. The Brazilian cheesey puff things were tough and cold. The market table, which is their salad bar, was narrow, crowded and COLD. Everything on that bar, whether it was meant to be cold or not was cold. The only saving grace for that market table was the tomato soup, which unfortunately was the best thing we ate there. The meats finally came around (3 total within the first 30 minutes of being there) were dry, extremely overcooked and basically inedible. My husband called it beef jerky. I have attached pictures. The hot sides served were mashed potatoes, which were stone cold, and the little fried jicama and plantains. I finally asked for a manager and was told there was a customer service rep assigned to our area of the restaurant and so I told her our complaints. They then brought out more beef that was almost undercooked but I was happy to at least have something closer to medium rare. We never saw pork or chicken come out at all although I hear they do have it. They gave us a fre me dessert for our anniversary which was a chocolate molten cake which I will say was delicious and one of the only hot things we ate all night. They did apologize and offer us a slight discount for our meal but we still paid $100 for a terrible meal on our anniversary. I won't be back. TLDR; GO TO GAUCHOS!

Date night with my hubby at Fogo is our favorite outing. Here's a little secret: you don't have to go for the buffet. They have a hidden à la carte menu available at the bar. Our favorite dish is the beef bone. We usually order two bones, lamb chops, and a few other special items from the menu. Our bill with drinks is usually around $86. Try the Mango Habenero cocktail! Superb! We cherish our time together and truly enjoy each other's company. A shout-out to the bartender--love the service!

We got the roti canai and salt and pepper calamari as appetizers, and the sizzling tofu, beef rendang, CK teow as entrees. - Sizzling tofu (6/5): A MUST TRY! I've never had tofu with this texture before. The outside is slightly crisp and the inside so light and fluffy, it feels like bitting into a cloud. The tofu tastes like a creamy egg soufflé and the sauce is savory and salty with pieces of sauté onions that add a nice crunch. The presentation was also very striking with the server pouring the sizzling sauce over the tofu. It's just such a beautiful dish that I would go back solely for! - Beef rendang (4.5/5): Overall a delicious and hearty dish. The beef was very tender and juicy, and there was a generous amount of it. The potatoes soaked up the sauce very well and made the dish extra filling. I forgot if we got to pick a spice level, but the dish had a nice kick to it and wasn't overwhelming spicy. - "CK teow" char kway teow (4/5): This dish had a lovely char tasted to it that made it very addictive. Just a nice savory noodle dish. I think my only complaint was that the portion was on the smaller side - Salt & pepper calamari (3.6/5): This was a pretty good calamari. The calamari had a light and crispy exterior and was pretty tender and seasoned really well. The chunky veggies were a nice touch texture wise. - Roti Canai (3.6/5): the Indian bread was so nice and flakey, I could've eaten it alone. The curry was also really tasty and flavorful, just a little bit watery. Service/ambiance: Service was excellent and they gave us so much rice. The restaurant was dimly lit, giving it a nice ambiance for dinner or a date night.

Same curved counter, same stainless, same red shirts - and the same man in the cap and beard shucking my oysters, one perfect shell at a time. This place isn't fancy. It's Texas honest. A grounded ship ringed in sun-bleached shells, loud with beer, laughter, and knives hitting the hinge. Folks pack in - oil hands, students, suits - because here, money doesn't decide taste. If you want the Gulf, you come. The oysters are what the Gulf does better than anyone will admit: big, briny, and unapologetic. Pacific and Australian oysters are refined - polite, even. Ours carry warm salt, mineral depth, and a little river memory. They don't whisper; they speak Texas. Menu says a dozen; you get thirteen. That's not a promotion. That's culture. The Michelada? Many places pour a decent one. I won't judge. But drop a fat Gulf oyster in the glass and the drink wears its crown - the way Houstonians know it should. Fried catfish here sets a bar most won't clear: cornmeal crisp, clean-sweet flesh, no mud, no funk. In this part of the country--Texas and our neighbors in Arkansas - we don't just eat catfish; we raise it right and fry it right. That's geography, craft, and pride. Frog legs snap at the joint and stay tender at heart - quiet Southern luxury. Gumbo is Texas gumbo - thicker, smokier, steady. Not Cajun, not Creole; ours. Skip it and your body will notice. Nineteen years ago I had my first Michelada here. Nineteen years later, it's still the best - and that same shucker in the cap is still running the line like time never learned his name. This isn't nostalgia. It's continuity. This isn't "seafood night." It's Houston - served raw, hot, and true. And for anyone wondering, yes - whoever you are, if you want the real thing, you'll end up here. - Dr. C Born elsewhere. Refined by Texas salt & smoke.

I didn't recall anything bad about the place, and given the rave reviews since then, I thought it was time to return. Based on reviews, we showed up early on a Friday evening (~5 pm). Even at that time, it was mostly full, but we were able to snag seats at the bar, which is first come first serve. We ordered the "regular" grilled oysters (5/5), which were anything but regular, as they were topped with peanuts and a really great flavor. I'd get these again. Fair warning, these take 20 minutes to come out, which I didn't mind, but I did not realize that they would not bring us anything else until after the oysters since these are considered an app. I thought they'd just bring things out as they were ready. This meant, we did not get our crawfish until we were already sitting there for an hour. About halfway into the wait for the crawfish (after the oysters), the fried rice (1/5) showed up, and I have to say, it was underwhelming. It came out room temperature, which to me is cold, and I thought this was just how they do it. Except 15 minutes later, the seats next to us got their fried rice, and it came out piping hot. You could still see the steam coming off of it. Besides being cold, I didn't think the fried rice was that good in terms of flavor. I also generally prefer the short grain rice, and this was more of a long grain. Once the crawfish showed up, we were well past an hour, so we dove right into it. Both the garlic butter and combo mix were great flavor - some of the best I've had in Houston. However.... it made me remember why we did not return. About 20% of the crawfish were TINY. And by tiny, I mean they were smaller than my pinky finger. Maybe I'm a crawfish snob, but at this time of the season, there should not be that many tiny crawfish. Maybe a few small ones, but not tiny. Crawfish flavor = 5+/5, crawfish quality = 2/5, crawfish cook = 3/5. Then I made the mistake of ordering a cluster of snow crab. That took another 30+ min to come out, and it was again room temperature. The service at the bar was fine (4/5), but the kitchen service (1/5) is not something I want to experience again, especially not for the crawfish quality/size. Yes, the flavor was amazing, but I'm not fighting for a table for lukewarm food and 30 min wait time for each dish. The pricing was some of the lowest I've seen ($8.99/lb crawfish), but I'd rather pay $1 more at other places for the quality.

There is a lot of seating. To start off, I ordered the Matcha Martini. It was STRONG omg, definitely a sipper, but it was so good. It was creamy and had a good matcha flavor. I love how they added matcha powder on top. For drinks, I also tried their espresso martini and Bubbly Pineapple. The espressos here are good, no complaints. The Bubbly Pineapple is so cute; it comes out with a bubble of smoke you can pop. The drink is very refreshing; it really tastes like pineapple. FYI, the drink has little black seeds, so if you don't like textures in your drink, maybe this one isn't for you. Also the drink came with a little frozen pineapple you can add to your drink once you pop the bubble As an appetizer, I got a dozen raw oysters and decided to add the $5 tobiko (fish eggs). Let me say, they were not stingy with the Tobiko, there was so much on my Oysters, I mean a lot! The oysters were good, and so was the tobiko, but I feel that with so much tobiko, it kind of took away from the oysters. Still good though, especially for $21 for the dozen with the tobiko! It was very filling I'm not gonna lie, I got pretty full with the oysters, but I still had to eat my entree As an entree, I ordered the Short Ribs, which came with rice and a side salad. I didn't think I was going to eat much of my entree since the oysters had filled me up, but I ate the short ribs down to the bone! Every single one of those ribs I devoured, no meat was left on my plate. I didn't have space to eat, but my stomach made space for this. 10/10 would recommend the short ribs, especially with the delicious sauce it came with. I think it's like a fish sauce 10/10 for food and drinks. Bonus: the staff here is really friendly. I really enjoyed my time here. I need to come more often for sure, this is definitely a Katy gem

Had no reservations anywhere on a Friday night but called GiAu Bar n Bites & they said come on in, we don't get our crowd till late night. It was fairly empty at 7:30p but by the time we left at 9:45p there were a few more ppl. Funny thing is, the age of most customers was 40-60s. The music is pumping loudly with no DJ but at 9p the DJ came in & took the music up another level! I think the older folks come out early & likely the younger people take over after 10 or 11p. ( I won't be able to confirm that theory cause I'll be home by then!) Food & services were good as usual. The bartenders do a great job check them out!
