We are so happy that Foglight was recommended to us for some help finding a family member. Art was incredibly supportive, informative, and really took his time to understand our situation. It's so important to have someone you can not only trust, but also feel a deep level of care from, when dealing with difficulty issues like these. Foglight has gone above and beyond to help in anyway they can. I really can't imagine a better choice for security and investigatory needs. Thank you from our whole family. read more

Artur was extremely quick to reply even though I messaged him after 9 PM. He was clear and upfront about the fees and the likelihood of being able to track down the information I was looking for. At the end he did find the information I was looking for before 10 AM of the next day. A great help and for a reasonable fee. read more

We have used Foglight Investigations many times throughout the last several years, and I can say with confidence: They are reliable, professional, and very good at "quick thinking" under pressure. The team is ex law enforcement so they are very familiar with escalation protocols, and have educated me on such to always ensure we are giving the right directives, and never opening ourselves up to risk. I wholeheartedly trust Foglight, and strongly recommend them to anyone in need of PI or Security Contractor services. read more

I thought I was being hacked and quite possibly setup to be burglarized. Foglight Investigations checked the phone number that called us and was able to quickly understand and provide us with detail of what was going on. Also we were given lots of information on how to prevent being hacked and other resources and referrals to other partners of theirs who may help as well. I felt very happy and safe after speaking and consulting with Foglight investigations. I highly recommend them. Not too mention his pricing was very fair. Couldn't be happier I went with Foglight over a competitor! read more

I have used three previous PI's before enlisting the services of Mr. Art Tilis. I can't count the number of other PI's who wouldn't take my case prior to that. I guess looking for your high school sweetheart after 26 years spooks them all out, except when it comes to Art. My case wasn't a "typical" situation, so maybe that's why I received so many refusals. Where the three other PI's ranging from San Diego to Sacramento failed, Art succeeded. Granted it took almost a year's worth of effort, but believe Art when he tells you, "I don't give up". He really doesn't give up! Just when you think there's no hope or any more avenues, Art has a wealth of experience, access to multitudes of resources, and always has a unique ability to think outside the box, but to remain realistic at the same time, in suggesting alternatives and options to take. It helps that he is real personable too. When someone makes a boast that "I have always found the person I am hired to look for" it is very difficult to believe such a statement. I am here to state that I am witness to this fact of Art's services and skills that he indeed always has found whoever he is hired to look for. All we had was a name and high school from 26 years ago and he was able to locate her. Don't go with any other PI services in the Bay Area until you consult with Art and give him an opportunity to hear your situation. Trust me I've done that and they were all either dismissive or hugely overpriced, even the large well-known firms. Art will take care of you and achieve the results you are looking for. After all, he got me mine, which is closure from 26 years ago. read more

I wanted to take a minute to share my follow-up thoughts regarding Foglight's performance. The focus of my review was primarily centered around the individual performance of the technical part of this specific job. After recently speaking with Art, he not only offered to come back and provide a complimentary sweep for bugs, he did inform me that he let Bruno go, which was my main area of concern. In my humble opinion, companies should be judged on how they handle mishaps, which is how I separate the good vendors from the poor. Art's willingness to go the extra mile to make a client happy demonstrates great integrity and clearly focuses on client retention and overall satisfaction. Foglight has demonstrated their aptitude for going the extra mile, which is why I'm happy to rewrite this review. read more

I have contacted several private investigators to do this job and none of them had any results for me. Art, from Fog Light Investigations, was the first one who not only gave me results but in a very short period of time. He is amazing, you can see how experienced and educated he is in what he is doing. I had a couple of experiences in the past with private investigators and none of them were even close to how professional, experienced, dedicated and fast in what he does. You can see real talent and years of experience working as a detective in San Francisco police. Foglight Investigations is the best private investigation company in the Bay Area. I would clearly recommend this company to anyone who is looking for investigation services. read more

I hired Foglight to get evidence of my husband's infidelity. My (soon to be ex) husband is a very elusive, secretive type who lives as if he were hiding from Interpol. It was very hard to pin him down. But the guys managed to get some HD video and photos which they sent to me via cell phone within four days. Art then sent me a link so that I could access all the photographs and videos on dropbox. Thank you guys! Sad circumstances, but I'm still grateful for your help. read more
