I was only five minutes late due to an emergency after dropping my wife at the ER, yet instead of showing any understanding, they treated me with complete disrespect. To make matters worse, I was told I'd have to wait five months for a simple, minor procedure. That is absolutely unacceptable. The providers here don't listen, don't care about patient pain, and act as though your problems don't matter. This clinic urgently needs leadership that trains staff and providers to show compassion, professionalism, and respect. Until then, I cannot recommend this place to anyone.

However, they refused to see me, refused to even let me talk to my doctor, and refused to fill my prescription, all because I couldn't pay the FULL amount upfront. I even offered partial payments and they declined. It is sickening when doctors choose money over the health of their patients. Sickening that money is more important than relieving suffering for people, as doctors do.

During that time I had to look for medical care elsewhere and discovered Pacific Medical. My initial contact was with a receptionist (name ?) who was the most pleasant receptionist I believe I've ever met. She was so helpful and arranged an appointment for me to meet a new PCP (Primary Care Physician). She transferred all my medical records from UW Medicine making the process painless. Did I mention the receptionist was so very pleasant? After my initial meeting with my new PCP, I was thoroughly impressed with the staff at Pacific Medical. The medical facility is really close by my apartment, so traveling back and forth is not a problem. Lots of parking, with about half dozen Handicap parking stalls directly out from the front door of the clinic. Perhaps the time spent with negotiations between Aetna & UW Medicine was my good luck.

Fair enough, I was fine with rescheduling but then they proceeded to tell me that my insurance supposedly "does not cover eye exams "  I beg your pardon? Why would you Schedule an eye exam for me, if my insurance did not cover it?  You have to pull up my chart with ALL my insurance and medical information to schedule any appointment correct? Nobody caught this? And furthermore, why are you waiting  30 MINUTES before my appointment to tell me? All this to say, kaiser wasted my time and they didn't need to. Please do better.

Dr. Jeremy Oulton and his nurse provided exceptional, patient-centered care. Dr. Oulton left the practice in 2024, and since that time it has been one frustration after the other. He has yet to be seen by a physician, as they use nurse practitioners and physician assistants. They haven't read his chart and seemed uninformed about simple medical issues. There is not a direct number to the clinic, and calling on their general number will get you transferred many times for something as simple as an appointment. At each transfer, you have to prove you are authorized to know his medical information. Today I have spent over an hour trying to get an appointment for my uncle as a follow up to him being recently released from the hospital. I understood the "One Medical" brand was a good one prior to being bought by Amazon. Amazon's model for products does not work for humans with unpredictable needs. Save yourself and go anywhere but here- this is consistently an abysmal experience.
