The providers here don't listen, don't care about patient pain, and act as though your problems don't matter. This clinic urgently needs leadership that trains staff and providers to show compassion, professionalism, and respect. Until then, I cannot recommend this place to anyone.

I even offered partial payments and they declined. It is sickening when doctors choose money over the health of their patients. Sickening that money is more important than relieving suffering for people, as doctors do.

My initial contact was with a receptionist (name ?) who was the most pleasant receptionist I believe I've ever met. She was so helpful and arranged an appointment for me to meet a new PCP (Primary Care Physician). She transferred all my medical records from UW Medicine making the process painless. Did I mention the receptionist was so very pleasant? After my initial meeting with my new PCP, I was thoroughly impressed with the staff at Pacific Medical. The medical facility is really close by my apartment, so traveling back and forth is not a problem. Lots of parking, with about half dozen Handicap parking stalls directly out from the front door of the clinic. Perhaps the time spent with negotiations between Aetna & UW Medicine was my good luck.

I have been willing to be seen at other Kaiser facilities for specialists, and they too cancel appointments I made months earlier and force me to reschedule several months later. Clearly, Kaiser has a shortage of all kinds of doctors. Member services is the WORST! No point contacting them. They will take a complaint, sometimes send generic related papers ("you filed a complaint"), and NEVER answer the phones given for follow-up. Then they send a letter that the complaint is closed. A heart-related test performed in Tacoma was so rough that bruises were visible, and I had related pain for a week. The abusive person performing this test had the nerve to complain during the test was tough on her too. She was tiny, so perhaps it was tough for her to apply so much force to abuse me. Member Services clearly DID NOT CARE & FAILED to follow up.

I've come to this location several times and have never been seen right on time - usually have to wait a few min in the lobby. So it's interesting that THEY can consistently run late but will turn away patients for a minor late arrival. A little transparency could go a long way. Even something like "normally we could still see you but since we are behind schedule we cannot", to show SOME accountability. Will not be returning to this location because I do think the receptionists could have been more helpful and/or transparent for the reason.

Surgery and Post Op review…read more. Surgery was completed by Dr. Houseworth. There was an unknown medical issue that was run into. Dr.Houseworth and his surgical team were ready for it and took care of the issue, thankfully. Post op care was great! Patient stayed overnight in the hospital, pain was readily managed, room was cleaned, patient was assisted in very timely manners when care was needed. The patient felt he was kept safe, cared for and treated well during his stay. He thoroughly enjoyed his popsicles after surgery and his walks around the hall. The patient was encouraged to walk, they very closely monitored fluid intake and output. Care was well managed by ALL members of the nursing staff! Everyone that entered the patients room knocked, announced their presence, identified the patient if needed, and stated their reason for the visit. The call light and knowledge of how to use it was also always appropriately mentioned. The patient was continuously asked if any needs could be met by all members of the team. Dr. Jeremy Oulton and his nurse provided exceptional, patient-centered care. Dr. Oulton left the practice in 2024, and since that time it has been one frustration after the other. He has yet to be seen by a physician, as they use nurse practitioners and physician assistants. They haven't read his chart and seemed uninformed about simple medical issues. There is not a direct number to the clinic, and calling on their general number will get you transferred many times for something as simple as an appointment. At each transfer, you have to prove you are authorized to know his medical information. Today I have spent over an hour trying to get an appointment for my uncle as a follow up to him being recently released from the hospital. I understood the "One Medical" brand was a good one prior to being bought by Amazon. Amazon's model for products does not work for humans with unpredictable needs. Save yourself and go anywhere but here- this is consistently an abysmal experience.
