Once my negative review posted it seemed like they had two positive reviews the next day by people they probably asked to put up reviews to increase their ratings. Unfortunately it seems unfair to be able to have a negative review deleted by a company since the local community should have the right to see what the negative experiences were. My mother went to Eierman & Schulken almost a year ago and she had told them what she needed completed in the beginning of the year and she needed a lot of tax help. My father had passed away and there were certain years missed which she is trying to rectify. She was asked to bring in a year where her taxes were completed and accepted as an example however they lost the documents. My mom wanted to keep those for her records and they blamed it on her for losing it so she got upset. They then terminated her from coming there anymore which she is a 78 year old woman and this is the closest place to her home where she cannot drive longer distances. I called to see if I could help in anyway and spoke to Bianca and she said that she would not continue to help my mother any longer even if I stepped in to help clear up any miscommunications. This is pretty upsetting given that she's already a current client of theirs and they were in the middle of working on her taxes and now she has to find somewhere else to go in the middle of tax season. She emailed Robert who was supposed to meet with her in person and asked why she deserved such a termination and he has never responded. Robert if you would like to reach out to me or my mother to rectify this I will change my review. I have never heard of someone terminating a current customer where she has already brought in business to you and would of continued to get every year of taxes done there going forward. This just seems like an unreasonable practice and I would expect more kindness given her age and recent life events that she just went through.

I had great experience in prior years but this year is different. I dropped off our tax documents…read moreon Thursday March 5th and usually about 2 weeks to be completed as we were told in prior years. We received a call on Friday March 20th by one of their office staff that our return was ready to be picked up. My husband, son and I went to sign and pick up our tax forms and thought we would be receiving our IRS return roughly 2 weeks from picking up our forms. It is now Monday March 30 almost April and our return was never sent to the IRS by their office and this I only found out because I had logged on to the IRS website to check on our refund but they did not have our information so I called Covati and Janhsen and that's when they said it was never sent to the IRS. So if I didn't check the IRS website for our refund, I would have never known my return wasn't filed. I trusted their office with our documents and return yet our forms just sat somewhere in their office without being filed and without even a call. If I didn't call them who knows how long before our return would have been sent to the IRS if even at all. So disappointed unfortunately we will not be returning.

I did not sell any stocks or real estate so I just needed a simple 1040 form prepared. I spoke to Steve on the phone that owns the business and prepares tax returns.He stated it would be $200. I brought my W-2 and other forms to his office and he said it would be done next week and i once again asked about the price and he said $200. I called him 6 days later and asked if I could pick up my taxes. He stated that he told me that it would be done by April 10th and I told him that he said it would be done by next week. He then stated that the was with a client and he was very busy and stressed out and he he wanted to hang up because "he didn't want to say something he would later regret and then hung up on me. He called me back one hour later and apoligized for what he said. He then tried to charge me $300 dollars andI quickly pointed out to him that we agreed on a fee of $200 and he quickly agreed. I found this man to be nasty, unprofessional, and a liar. SHAME on you Steve.

All I needed was a 220 outlet which was 6 feet from the breaker box and to my surprise I was charged $90 per hour per person, so I paid $180 per hour for an electrician and a helper the total came to over $500.00 for an outlet which by the way cost more than the brand new dryer I was hooking up. The were prompt and clean but otherwise.......YIKES
