I would say that this is the French version of JB HiFi, but unless you are Australian you probably have absolutely no idea what I mean, and if you are French then I have basically told you what JB Hifi was. Anyway, it is basically an electrical goods store, though this one was rather small, at least compared to the one I found the Paris. Basically you can get computer stuff, musical stuff, and other electrical and electronic goodies. The reason I ended up here was because the power adapter for my laptop died and I basically needed a new one, and I even managed to get one without speaking a word of English. Anyway, despite it being smaller than the Parisian one, I was still able to get what I wanted, and the staff were helpful, at least to the extent that they were able to help me without being able to speak English. read more

Lieu effectivement "sinistre" : ça me rappelle (ma jeunesse ?) la fnac des Halles -Paris- : en sous sol , éclairage jaunâtre, rayons étroits etc... Pourtant ce magasin n'est pas très ancien ; il s'est installé après un fiasco d'un centre commercial en sous-sol... en plein centre ville ! Quant aux vendeurs : peu disponibles, souvent peu compétents : ils sont la " pour vendre", le rayon librairie : une cata (on vous répond "tête de gondole", "produit en indisponibilité"); bref tout cela est très loin du concept initial !!! La fnac est un espace convivial où il fait bon se retrouver. Les vendeurs sont de très éléments et on sent qu'ils aiment ce qu'ils font. La climatisation du magasin est géniale! read more
