I rented a "studio" or Jr One Bedroom as it may be listed online. Living alone, this was all I needed to feel comfortable and still have some space to spare. The studio style is very open with the living room and kitchen combined and an open-top wall separating the bedroom. The huge walk in closet was perfect for storage of clothes and other oddities. All of the appliances were state of the art and honestly a joy to use. My apartment was ground level facing the baseball field. I'm sure all other apartments boast beautiful views as well. My only caution about renting one facing the Dash ball field would be noise. While games can get noisy over the loudspeaker, even out of season there are many events across the street that play music nearly daily and into the night. At the same time, you can't beat the gorgeous view of fireworks out the massive living room window after a Friday night game. The rest of the complex is just as high-quality. The pool, exercise room, business center, and common areas are vibrant and welcoming. I would tend to watch big sporting events on the large HD tv in the common area. The poolside grills are also a very nice amenity and a treat for guests go experience. The office management at Link completed my enjoyable experience. Mike was a tremendous help in getting everything squared away when I moved in, as well as available to answer any questions throughout my stay. Lisa also was very helpful. I did have one instance of a leaking closet roof. Maintenance was contacted who quickly came and fixed the problem. While the leak was fixed, maintenance took a decent amount of time to install a new ceiling piece. I kept this as a 5 star review vs 4 solely because Lisa was adamant about getting this fixed. I had mentioned that maintenance had been great at solving the leak, but part of my closet was unusable until a new ceiling was replaced. Lisa was great in contacting maintenance to completely finish the project and very kind throughout the process. I looked at a handful of places when I moved to WS. There are a lot that have more affordable pricing, but the quality of Link definitely exceeds the rental price. I would recommend at least touring Link apartments before making a final decision in your move.

They also have various events- my all time favorite was when they had a wine tasting. They also had a murder mystery and a casino night before. Each summer there is an annual pool party with food and beverages! This is turning into a long post but I don't even need to mention the walking distances to restaurants and breweries! The maintenance staff is great and timely. The complex has a plethora of work out spaces as well as 2 pools, grills, 2 dog parks and 2 rooftops. I really love where I live and love the events they put on for us such as the pool party, Monday night football event, halloween party, etc. If I'm moving anytime soon, it will only be into a large apartment in this building.

I remember going to the top of the Empire State building and looking down in awe at how amazing that building was while my sister puked all over the observation deck and that's when we learned she might be afraid of heights. Getting the opportunity to live in the building that was the prototype and inspiration for the Empire State building is just so cool to me. The views are absolutely incredible as you look out the oversized windows. With downtown W-S becoming revitalized thanks to the business/guests the Kimpton hotel/WF have brought in there are more shops, galleries, restaurants, and bars opening almost weekly. Dalton and Amanda have been great at working on getting our apartment ready for us and being flexible and non-urgent/pushy when it comes to getting paperwork signed and amended. The non-salesy approach they have is great and makes you feel welcome and like a friend. Having access to the Katherine without having to leave the property as well as being able to get room service delivered to your apartment can get very expensive as that Pork Chop is amazing! The gym is good for what it is and could use some more attention to the machines to make sure they all are working. That could be a Kimpton responsibility though. The rec room is seriously amazing. Being able to slide down and bowl a few games or shoot some hoops is just a nice little touch that makes this property stand out. We looked at a few other luxury residences in the area and yes they may have a pool (more like a big bathtub) but they lack the sophistication, warmth, history, and classiness that the Residences have. The resident's lounge is a nice touch but there is a chess piece missing and some of the shuffleboard pucks. If you are going to have them out then at least make sure you have backup pieces so that people can actually use them. Having that space enclosed completely would be nice to really make it feel like a residence only space. It can get loud when maintenance is moving garbage carts and the speaker in the hall is a bit annoying when watching TV. Having a garbage can down in the sitting area would be convenient, especially when people are down there having coffee or eating. The super bowl party was great for the residents to get to know each other and mingle as well as try out food from a restaurant they might not have ever tried. I hope there are monthly events like this or even a chili-cook off to help bring the residents together. The 10th-floor deck is going to be awesome in the summer. The views are pretty amazing but having that much seating, the two grills, oversized chess board, and the bean bag toss game should make for a good time. As for the apartments themselves. Windows are awesome! However, we wish they all opened and not just a select few. A bit sad there is no garbage disposal since it looks like there is a junction box to add one. They cost $100~ and provide a higher standard of living than having to fish peas etc out of the trap... not luxury. The dishwasher does the job and I know this is nit-picking but the rack layout is from 1984. The higher-end models work much better and have a better rack layout and are quieter. Another perk is each floor having its own garbage room that seems to be emptied constantly! Right now we couldn't be happier living here. Pros: Hardwood floors Multiple hang out areas Historic Building Gym-Rec Room Residence Lounge Kimpton Hotel services available to use Great views 10th floor deck Super nice neighbors Convenient enough parking Close to everything with a very walkable downtown Cons: The train horn at 2am No garbage disposal Not all the windows open Cabinet space is limited (enough unuseable living space but can be used to put buffets and storage cabinets)

My dissatisfaction in my review is not meant to persuade anybody to not move here. The apartment is…read morespacious and nice, no doubt about that. My review is to prepare the next person who decides to move in and to the resident who plans to move out or break your lease. We had to break our lease for a relocation for a job opportunity and this apartment complex will MILK YOU past anything you have. I thank god we secured our new apartment first before we did this because we would be HOMELESS!!! First tip, anything they tell you please make sure it is in writing for your record. They will make breaking the lease seem simple and flat rate but no. You pay your rent on top of owing two months' rent for breaking the lease and pay fees for any apartment damage. You sit there until you understand everything and have it sent in an email. This is mainly for the ones who don't know, so please be prepared and ask questions. We ended up with a total bill over $6000 or even more to be exact. Imagine having to cough up 6000 before being able to move into a new apartment and paying what the new location needs. That is why I say," please secure your next location 1st before anything else". The main issue is the move out fees. You are charged FULL PRICE for the tiniest things so you must the apartment managers to work. You have them come in and check you apartment as much as possible until your bill is clear and PLEASE, ALWAYS TAKES VIDEIOS AND PICTURES OF HOW YOU LEFT YOUR APARTMENT. I paid a cleaning service to clean my oven and fridge and I was still charged full price. It doesn't matter what they see, they will simply just charge you for everything. Even some of the pictures they showed me I still don't understand why I was being charged. If you have a pet, even an ESA pet, and even if your apartment is clean and smells like roses, they are going to charge you for pet odor and carpet cleaning which can come up to $500. This apartment owed me an apartment cleaning but still charged me. They will push your needs to the back and forget about them if you are not persistent. My cabinet door was broke and they said they could not fix it just yet because of Covid restrictions. But they still charged me for the door that broke 3 times. So that told me, they never reviewed my profile or took anything into consideration with the charges. So trust me when I say, it's like Disney land to them with the charges, they turn into little fairies and charge you EVERYTHING AT FULL PRICE. Oh, and they charge you for every single hole in your wall. They will lie and say we don't charge for anything smaller than a nickel. That is not true, and if you think this is not important, well it was a $210 charge for us so it is a big deal. This means you have to close up all the holes in your wall yourself. The bill after kicking out over $4000 for the fees was a little over $1900. I felt like all the effort I put into the apartment cleaning, I should have just left it. I should have left all the trash and food in the fridge and not even cleaned a thing. What's the point if I was charged full price. That would have saved me so much energy and stress. I have lived in 6 apartments and I have never had a bill this high and felt that charges were unfair. And the $1900, they want that split into 3 and paid within 3 months. If I can help the next person, this is why I placed so much effort into explaining this. You need to know, you need to prepare and be smart. They are great people but the business is shady. Just remember, you are a sale to persuade and a cow to milk in the end.

They always spin in it and say it's your fault. Last winter in one of the bedrooms a lot of mold was accumulating around the windows so we called them. They came to look at it and told us to "leave the blinds open." Seriously. That's how lazy these people are. It is now February (2022) and I literally can not take the people that is in the leasing office now especially (Amy)! They are so unprofessional! I get off work every night between 8-9PM and there is literally NO PARKING SPACES NEAR my apartment!!! It is so sad I have to park 2 apartment buildings down just to find a part space. And I am very nervous parking other places where I am unable to see my car! I have spoken to Amy about this TWICE!! And nothing has been done. Her "response" is always "you could park in front of the rent office". Why would I every want to do that??? Do I live in the leasing office???? NO!! So why would I do some BS like that???
